I bought my wifes wedding and engagement ring with Leymaster Jewelry. I got a great price with the option to make payment arrangements. Leymaster Jewelry was so easy to work with and Mrs. Leymaster so kind and helpful. We have also bought pearls, earrings and gems stone jewelry from this great jewelry store. I would recommend anyone that wants a good deal and good service to make a trip. We also take any jewelry repairs we have to Leymaster's.

This place or the old woman who works there likes to keep your jewelry, never leave anything for repair or you will never get it back. Just a scam!

I have been very pleased with Leymasters. The cost to have rings sized or repaired has been less than what other jewelers have quoted. They do quality work. Very friendly.

I would never use these jewelers for any watch repair. We dropped off my watch to have a new stem and crystal put in and they said that it would take several weeks since their repair company (Grover's, in Rexburg) is quite busy. We checked on the status about 3 weeks after dropping it off and they said the same thing, he is really busy. We called back after 2 more weeks and the same story, so we called Grover's and they said that they did not have the watch. So, then we called the jewelers again and they said that they would have to check on it. Well, as it turned out they never delivered the watch to Grover's and it was still in their possession, All, this time they were lying to us. So, we will take it to Grover's since we will know it will get delivered. They will probably take this down, so I will just keep posting it.

Needed to get a ring resized and a stone added to it, so I dropped by this store. I gave them the ring and a few other items to potentially be used in trade for the work to be assessed. The woman at the counter was nice enough and took down my information saying that their goldsmith should be able to look at it a couple of days later. So far, so good. Fast forward to when I should have heard something, and I call the store with no answer. I assume there are probably customers in the store and can appreciate prioritizing people who come in to do business, so I don't sweat it too much. I do not leave a message because based on other reviews, they don't seem to get back with folks this way. So I try three more times throughout the morning and still do not get an answer. Once or twice I can understand, but Idaho Falls isn't exactly busting with folks going jewelry shopping on a Wednesday morning, so I get the feeling the calls are not making it through. At this point, I start to get nervous that I've left jewelry with a place that I can't communicate with, so I go back into the store. The same woman is there and I tell her I dropped some things off to be assessed and about the ring I wanted a quote for and she again says that their goldsmith is out of town. Now as I'm not very familiar with the jewelry business, I could be under the false impression that a store holding onto someone's jewelry for days on end without any updates or concrete timelines is cause for alarm, but I wasn't exactly comfortable with how laid back they seemed to be about when I would hear back from them. I understand that things happen unexpectedly, but a quick update would have been nice. In addition, when I asked about the phone calls, I was met with skepticism and asked to verify the exact times I called. I asked the woman if she could understand why the shifting timelines and lack of communication would make me nervous about working with them, and she said that I should take my items with me as I left. The ease of getting my jewelry back is probably the only reason I'm giving them two stars, and I only later realized she didn't even ask for the claim check... Anyways, my issue with this business stems primarily from communication issues: no updates on when things would get done, difficulty getting them on the phone.

I took my watch in to have the back put on, and the guy broke off the wind thing on the side. He said it would be $20 to fix it (even though he broke it) and it would take a week. It's been about 5 or 6 weeks now, I've called and left 3 or 4 messages on the answering machine, and even went by once to ask for my watch back and they said it wasnt there. I feel like they're dodging me - no returned calls, no watch.

I had a horrible experience, the woman that works there is so unprofessional & was so rude to me. She's nice to you only if you give them service, but nasty to you if you find someone else that will give you a better price. She knows nothing about Customer Service. I wanted 2 rings sized, she quoted me $35 each. I found another place lots cheaper, so naturally, I wanted to save money, when I went to get the rings back, she was so rude to me. I couldn't believe the attitude she gave me!! I was even upset my 3 kids had to hear her be snappy with me. My parents used to be loyal customers, but after I told them about how that lady acted towards me, they said they will never go back.
