I looked up vacuum cleaner repair near me. Sears came up in the search but the website doesn't list vacuums under the choices. So I tried to call and ask if they service vacuum cleaners before taking mine in. I called the phone number that was supposedly for the local repair shop. Apparently the calls are routed overseas instead of to the actual on-site technicians. What's worse is I called twice and the first time the agent couldn't hear me (but I could hear him). I called back and the agent (definitely a different agent than the previous one) was very difficult to hear, low volume and cutting in and out. Apparently the call center they hire has at least 2 faulty headsets?? So I tried to contact them online and found no way to chat or email anyone. When I select "contact us" it just takes me to the select an appliance for HOME repair (not drop-off) and the items are things like refrigerators. I found no "other appliances," "something else" or "report a concern" option. I think either the google listing keywords mistakenly include "vacuum repair" and the call center has sub-standard quality equipment.

A & E appliance services. Used to be pretty good. They now field their service call overseas. Very difficult to finally speak with someone, and then you are fed standard answers.I will never use this company again. Tech was fine.We were "required" to wait at least 14 -21 days before they would ship our factory warranty part. We were told the part was on backorder by one department and told they had 400 in stock by another department. (PC board)We ordered the part and paid for it ourselves. Installed it and fridge stopped working again 3 days later. Called back and just so furious we decided to just buy a different fridge...NEVER BUY FRIDGIDAIRE. They have now sent us 2 PC boards...unbelievable!!!

Didn't show for five appointments in a row. I had stayed home from work each of those days so that the freezer could be worked on. Ended up taking four months to get the repair done. Terrible service over the phone. Lack of consideration for customers and their time. When the tech finally came to the house, he was great. Did the repair no problem. Working with the scheduling service to actual get the tech to the house is a nightmare. Unless you're okay with having a broken appliance kicking around your garage for months, steer clear of this repair service.Service: Freezer repair

I will NEVER again use this company!!! I had been waiting for over two months for someone to come and repair my dryer and every time I called they said the part had not arrived yet. After I had prepayed, I called to get my money returned and spent an hour on the phone just trying to reach a person to talk to. Then after being transferred from one person to the next, all of which did not speak proper English I might add, the gal assured me I would receive back only about half of what I paid. It’s been another two months and I STILL have not received my money back! Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! I will never recommend these guys to anyone! The person who repaired the refrigerator was good. We were without a refrigerator for 2 1/2 weeks, waiting on parts & a scheduled repair time. The food loss reimbursement part of the service contract has been very poor. I sent the claim on December 3 and have not had any type of response. The wait time to talk to a person in that department is over 180 minutes. I am extremely frustrated. Can anyone contact me about this????????
