I would not recommend buying a used vehicle from Gee with this experience.I purchased a 2018 Jeep Compass in February 2022 from This Gee Dealership.Eric the sales manager said they had looked it over and had no issues. He stated that Gee has a 100,000-mile or 5-year warranty even with a used vehicle. He also stated that if I had any worries, I shouldn't because every Jeep has a warranty of 100,000 miles or 5 years if I prefer a Jeep Dealership with experience to do the work. He convinced me that either way I would have no cause for worry should anything go wrong with the Jeep.In a phone call after my purchase, I mentioned to Eric that I was hearing a thud/rattle going over bumps and that at over 55+mph I was experiencing a vibration and the back of the Jeep seemed to go back and forth from side to side like it was sort of floating. He said he believed it was looked over well and he didn't think I needed to worry. He also said I could bring it in if I wanted to make an appointment. At that time, I put all of my money into the down payment and I was staying close to Bonners Ferry. So, I trusted him.I called & then texted Eric at the Gee dealership again in March asking about the increasingly loud rattle/thud on bumps & vibrations over 55+ mph. I brought it to the dealership and was told I needed new tires & 6/32 is where the tread was and cords may be separating due to the gravel roads in Idaho.I replaced the tires elsewhere for cost reasons which the Jeep had less than 16k miles on it. I asked at oil changes why with new tires I still hear the loud noise. I was told that the Gee Service Center found nothing wrong still.I found out from another dealership that this Jeep I was sold with just under 13,000 miles on it, was from Canada and because it was now in the United States there is NO JEEP 100,000 mile or 5-year warranty as I was told by the Gee sales manager Eric. I brought it to that dealership because the Auto Stop/Start function was having a warning. It was ok, I just needed to drive longer to restore the function and once was reset, I had no further issues with the Auto Start/Stop function.Recently, I went to Les Schwab bought new studded snow tires & had an alignment done. I mentioned the noise issues that new tires have not corrected the problem and that Gee keeps saying found nothing. I also mentioned that I had been in another Jeep Compass that had no noise like mine on the same roads & that Gee Dealership stated nothing wrong since the day I purchased it.The suspension guys at Les Schwab looked at my Jeep when doing the alignment and said that the sway bar was broken and some links. I had them repair both and spent approximately $222 for the repairs.Once the repair was done at Les Schwab, I no longer have noises or vibrations that I have listened to for 2 years now.I drove with broken parts, and kept being told by Gee that nothing was wrong but I needed new tires after only driving it for 3 months, not even 20k miles on it then. In my opinion, that is way too soon to have a sway bar and links broken that Gee couldn't find.I am so disappointed because I trusted Gee and all they wanted to do was sell me tires and invalidate my questions and issues with the Jeep that supposedly had a warranty that seems they did not want to honor or that their service technicians are so inexperienced they couldn't locate the issues of my complaints. It took Les Schwab to find the problems.I am still under the warranty and feel if Gee wants to make this right they should pay the $222 that came out of my pocket. I would not have Gee do this repair because they couldn't even find it 2 years ago! This was my first experience purchasing at a Major Dealership with a loan. This purchase was not a good one in my opinion.

I had such a wonderful experience at George Gee in Coeurdalene Id. The process of buying a car went to fast. Dan Winters was such a great salesman. He walked me through all the features my car did. Plus introduced us to so many people and the store manager. It was just like a big family at that place. You want a great experience you have to go here. It's so worth it

I live in Spokane & there was not a bodyshop in Spokane to get my car in for repair within 4 months. But George Gee CDA could get me in within a month-ish. At first I thought, "what a hassle?!". Noooo, I was wrong! Rental car was there waiting, when I arrived. I was told from start to finish the process of what would be needed to repair my rig. They had my car about a week. I picked it up today. They did a fantastic job! It's about 1.5 years old & it looks better than when I drove off show room floor. My damage was on right side, they clear coated left side, tires, etc to match right side. Filled my tires with air & DETAILED the interior! It looks AMAZING!!!! ? Beth there was professional, thorough & stellar in customer service. If I ever need body work done again, I'm taking my car to George Gee CDA.Great, great job!!!Services: Painting

Initial response and scheduling was great. Not sure they inspect the work their techs do. The headlight housing they replaced was full of moisture, interior of truck was full of dust from the body shop, badging on the door wasnt replaced. Scheduled a second appointment to get the items dealt with. Truck in the shop for three hours, headlight housing replaced…. And they forgot the badging again.Not likely that I will use their services again, if you do, double check everything they doServices: Painting

George Gee Collision Center has the Staff to help anyone navigate the challenges of Collision repair. When a huge deer damaged my 2018 Rav4, the Collision Center staff was accurate on estimates, timely on part ordering and thorough on communication & coordination. Do not bring your vehicle here for collision repairs. Horrible customer service, they will schedule your vehicle 6-7 weeks out and when you drop it off for repairs, estimate already written up, they leave it sitting there for 2-3 days untouched until they get around to it.

I can't speak on their repair work as I never got that far. I had to wait 2-3 wks to even get an appt for an estimate on my Lexus. Once there, I felt comfortable with the knowledge of the older woman giving me the estimate. She seemed to know her stuff. She said she would email me the estimate so I didn't have to wait. 1.5 weeks and 4 phone calls/messages later, I still have not received the requested estimate and now I'm not trusting them to follow through on the work. That cost them at least a $12,000 job. Someone needs some training on follow through with their customers!

I was never given a time frame my car would be done, and got my car back dirtier than when I dropped it off. I keep my car clean because I have a child and don't have time to regularly detail my car. I didn't think dropping my car off to be repaired would cause more work on my end. Along with that, the attitude I received on a follow-up call trying to give you more business was flat out rude and condescending. Her attitude ensured I wont bother you with my business any longer. But great job to the guys out in the shop, body work is great. Just everything else surrounding the experience was less than satisfactory.Service: Body & Trim

On the recommendation from my insurance agent I too my Audi R8 to Gee collision for repairs after someone bumped my front end. Being very particular of my car I checked it over VERY closely when completed. The quality of the repairs were excellent. No issues. Beth & Brigitte kept me updated & in the loop with the status of my vehicle as parts took a couple weeks to get. 5 star experience- Highly recommend Gee collision.Services: Painting

Beth was super helpful and amazingly positive. We had a slight issue with a drained battery when we picked up our vehicle, but Beth was persistent in helping us get it fixed and replacing our battery. Completely trashed the interior of my car left my truck completely waterlogged and just horrible customer service in general I paid $3000 for a service that I feel was never taken care of and left my front end unbalanced and sent me out the door on a damaged wheel…. Progressive insurance with the insurance company also leaving me completely in the dark horrible service wor shop I’ve ever dealt with in my life I work for the autobody industry myself and I’m just appalled. Service manager offered to help me detail my truck I took it upon myself to fix it myself after being disrespected and told relentlessly that I was wrong after having photos of before and after leaving my completely nice inside truck damaged and trashed I will never go back to this shop and I do not recommend anybody use the shop!Services: Tires
