The two ladies at the waikele sun glass hut store yesterday were so helpful! They actually made effort to look (during a busy period) for an extra pair of nose pads for the missing nose piece for my glasses. They even helped me find another pair in the right size and adjusted it to fit my face perfectly.

At first, I was excited to have found what I was looking for, Versace aviators with a 20% discount at 270$, they had no new ones in store so I decided to have a new one ordered and shipped to the store, the sales associate stated that if I had shipped to my home, it will only take 3-4 business days. I said that's fine and I'll wait for the shipment to arrive. 16 days later, no sunglasses. The one star is not because I did not receive my product within 3-4 business days, but the hoops I had to go through to get a refund. The first call was made at 13 days from the product not arriving on time, the associate tells me to wait at least one more day for it to arrive, I say ok but in the event it does not arrive within the given time, I will be requesting for a refund, the associate proceeds to tell me that I will not be refunded until I receive they item and physically give it to them. I stated that that's absurd, at this point the tracking showed that it had not moved for 10 days. I waited 2 more days, still nothing. The second call I asked for a manager, I was informed there was no manager on duty and to wait the next day, I gave my name and number to have the manager call me as soon as they come in the next morning. No call from the manager, my third call I stated that no one called me to resolve this issue, I finally got a manager, he proceeded to tell me that due to them switching to a more "green" shipping process, my product is delayed, at this point I was frustrated and informed him that that's an internal issue and the consumer should not have to pay for their errors. He stated to me that he can give me the display they had in store or they can reorder one to be shipped in store, which will take longer and that's the only options. He then states that if you have a complaint to call the 1-800 number. He gave me the number but before I go over his head, I confirmed with him, so you're refusing to give me a refund? At that moment he may have realized something and stated that he will give me a refund without the product in hand. That's all I wanted, my money back for a product that may never arrive, either someone stole it or it's lost. Like I said, the customer should not to go through what I did. Do better next time.

They had the sunglasses that I had been looking for online for days and with little luck. Ordered it through the store and having it delivered to my house (no shipping fee). They even gave me a $30 dollar discount for a special they where having.The whole process took less than 10 minutes…sales person Natalie was quick and courteous and didn’t try to up sell me (I appreciate that)

I tried to do an even exchange on a Christmas gift, with a valid gift receipt, within the allotted time policy, and they tried to CHARGE ME! I was NOT trying to get a refund, I was not trying to exchange for a greater value item; I was simply trying to do an even exchange for a pair of sunglasses from the same exact brand, same exact style, different color. Both items were valued the exact same. The cashier said “it was purchased under a different sale promotion than the sale promotion going on now,” and wanted me to pay the difference. It is my understanding, and the practice of reputable companies, that merchandise exchanges are supposed to be based on the value of the item, not the promotional difference. So are they saying, if they were having a better promotion than before, that they would PAY ME THE DIFFERENCE, with a gift receipt? I sincerely doubt it. Bad business practice! Won’t be shopping here anymore; will be advising family and friends to purchase gifts at a store/company with ethical policies.

Excellent customer service from Kacie. Very patient and knowledgeable about all the sunglasses my mom was looking at. Did not push any certain glasses over any other. She asked questions about what are some of the things my mom was looking for and suggested all that she could to help us make a choice.
