The state Department of Health issued a $75,000 fine to a Hawaii liquor distributor for dumping expired drinks and other pollutants into a stream in Waipio. Officials said the pollution of Waiawa Stream was linked to Paradise Beverages’ Waipio distribution facility. Along with the fine, the DOH also issued a notice of violation and order and directed the company to construct containment for its beverage disposal area and take other measures to protect the environment. BEWARE: This company has illegally poisoned a river/waterway on Oahu Island. Besides the quality of the product, companies should always be worried about the quality of life they're affecting. Clearly paradise beverages have no concern for the quality of life here on Oahu. They were crushed expired beverages with chemicals and pollutants that then were washed out into the Waiawa stream. Hopefully they have to pay more for their actions than just the $75,000 fee they have to pay but I haven't seen anything besides the fee and to disconnect from the stream. I hope this helps you recognize that this is not a good company through and through. Please stop poisoning rivers, Paradise Beverages!

This company deserves to be shuttered. They break they law and poison the community they do business in. Hawai'i would be better off without them. I hope you read this and go somewhere else for your business, it's time for them to close.

BEWARE this is a horrible company that dumped expired drinks and vehicle pollutants into Wahiawa stream, contaminated the stream and the area reeked with beer. Officials said the pollution of Wahiawa Stream was linked to Paradise Beverages' Waipio distribution facility. I hope you consider before buying or associating yourself with this unethical company.

We had a rocky start with them but now I know how to get through to the right department! We have a kegerator and had issues with the liquor store not letting us know when the keg we ordered was not in stock. Now we call Paradise before we place our order!

Constant illegal parking (paradise beverages truck in background) blocking a turn lane on a busy street dropping off to 7-11. This pic from 7:10AM today. Why can't rules be followed instead of causing massive traffic backlog for several blocks of people needing to turn right?

Does the manager or better yet, owner, of this company know that you have a convicted registered sex offender, of a girl under the age of 18, employed at this company doing product deliveries? Are any of these deliveries made near schools, day cares, etc.? There are just certain occupations that sex offenders such as this should not be allowed to do and places they should not be allowed to go. Oh wait, there is! Not a good representative for your company and one that your customers should be aware of.

Nice employees, friendly staff, always on time for deliveries. However, I have lived and worked in Kaimuki for almost fifty years. For the past few years, on an almost daily basis, I've noticed that when making deliveries to Tamura's Fine Wine & Liquors, Paradise Beverages' delivery trucks stick out and block the entire driveway and sidewalk adjacent to Tamaru's on Waialae Avenue. The delivery trucks are often parked for thirty minutes or even a few hours, not just a few minutes. As a result, all pedestrians have to walk around the delivery truck and onto the street directly into traffic and moving cars. This is very dangerous and presents an unnecessary hazard - especially for children (there is a dance studio next to the driveway), senior citizens such as myself, and disabled individuals. Politely, I've inquired with Tamura's and Paradise Beverages and both have acknowledged the delivery trucks should not be blocking the sidewalk, but have not made any efforts to improve the situation. Day after day, Paradise Beverages' delivery trucks continue to block the driveway and sidewalk. This is a very dangerous situation and it is only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or something worse happens.
