Always went to the KTApharmacy throughout the years and had no problem. However, I changed insurance companies because I got a new job. I asked my doctor to call in my prescription, which she did. I needed approval from my insurance company. All arlynn said is I need a PA, With no explanation of what needed to be done. Did they tell my doctor, or the M.A who called in my medication again and again that? NO. instead i went about 2 weeks without it and they tried to charge me 51$ for it. Why? I went to longs drugs and they charged me 31$ for the same medicine. Thanks but no thanks KTA pharmacy. No aloha there.. The pharmacist and assistants at Longs drugs helped me until I got the medication in hand and i got it in a day. Mahalo longs drugs staff.

Everyone at this pharmacy was extremely nice, went beyond, and helped me with my new medication. I was on vacation and didn’t expect to need medication. They helped me during a stressful time. A big thank you!

I got a sandwich here for my flight back home. Reasonable prices. Great selection, good location, parking and a very friendly staff.

Awesome staff. Cashier looked through coupon book so we would get a discount. Store was well stocked with merchandise. If you bring your own bags they give you 5 cents a bag.

Love the local store, KTA. Lots of treats my family enjoys; musubi, poke bowls and a sushi bar. Recently added the Hess Aloha Bol. Pricey, but worth giving it a try. Celebrated Chef, Hess was there. He came out from behind the window to help serve up a large portion to a friend he recognized then he went back of the house. The newly hired employee who helped me was confused and needed support; I am sure they will work the kinks out. Kinda' pricey for local style bowls. Ono.

Least likable poke that I tried while visiting Hawaii mainly because the tuna was not as tender or cleanly flavorful. The size of the $9 poke bowl was called "small", but it was plenty for lunch. The poke came with the common option of white or brown rice where the brown rice was better. The "Super Store" wasn't supermarket sized. Only full-sized bottles of bug repellent were stocked which meant we surrendered the mostly used can to the TSA when returning home. In an area with diverse tropical fruits, the selection wasn't special.

i tried to fill a prescription at kta pharmacy, they said my insurance (ohana) rejected to pay for it. i called ohana, and they said the pharmacy made a mistake by submitting it under the behavioral plan, instead of the medicaid plan. now i have to go back to the pharmacy and do this again. they failed at the most simple, basic thing they should be able to do. they get MINUS ONE star.

KTA has never ever failed to disappoint me. Everything is so fresh and they are super friendly. I knew it was the ultimate one-stop-shop when I found my favorite alcohol there - TY KU. Now if only I could live here, life would be gooood.
