Just enjoyed a terrific facial with Rebecca at the Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua. The facility is very nice with a spacious locker room, wet facilities and two lovely relaxation lounges. Rebecca’s expertise and kindness was above and beyond my expectations, the best facial I have ever received!

I’ve been to many high end spas and this is one (if not the) best. From the moment you walk, you’re surrounded by genuine, first-class hospitality. I ended up enjoying my massage so much that I came back for a second treatment. The space is wonderfully spacious and I felt I had the entire place to myself even though it was the peak of the holiday season. Andrea was my massage therapist and it was incredible. I felt she was attentive to identifying each ache, pain and point of tension and went above and beyond to make it a perfect experience. I went back two days later and had a pedicure by Brenda - best I’ve ever had. Service was outstanding and I was encouraged to stay the whole day. Will absolutely be coming back!

For the money, it was not worth the cost. My masseuse was noisy, and unprepared.
She spent more time finding her oils, towels, etc than giving me my massage. Out of the 50 minutes I maybe got a 30 minute massage.

On our last day here - stayed for 8 days and traveled as a family of 4 with an 8 and 5 year old. Admittedly, it started off rough at check-in because our American Express booking wasn't accepted and the hotel wasn't honoring our room upgrade and breakfast buffet credit. However it was fixed, after working with the hotel, specifically - Rochelle, the manager - who went above and beyond - by upgrading our room and getting our breakfast buffet credits. Room: the suites are totally the way to go! Gorgeous balcony, large bathroom (with walk-in shower, soaking tub ? and separate potty), plus full kitchen. I recommend getting a few groceries to stock your kitchen for the week, especially drinks and snacks for the kids. Food: is good. Highly recommend the breakfast buffet! It isn't cheap, so if you can get a deal or credit for it, definitely do. It has everything and is absolutely delicious. Even our hummingbird of a 5 year old ate a ton each morning. ? Lorrie is the best hostess and Laura is a wonderful server ❤️ And the custom egg station ? The Banyan restaurant at the pool has really good dinner and drinks and we also liked the sushi restaurant up in the lounge, front desk area - recommend Nate as a server ? Our favorite is the Burger Shack for lunch. It's on the beach, beautiful ocean view seating, delicious food and the best milkshakes. Plus, our children are obsessed with the chickens/roosters. Only downside is pool side service. If you get down early, you can establish a server and it's a little better. Although it doesn't start until at least 11am and is very slow. If you truly want a vacation buzz, you better order 2 drinks at a time and order the kid's lunches way before they ask, or else, it will take forever with hangry children ? Property: the pools are great. Perfect kiddie pool for really littles and parents, plus varying other pool sizes for the whole family. We haven't had a problem getting seats or an umbrella at the pool or beach each day. The guys at the towel stations, especially at the beach are super helpful. Jeremy is ?? The Ritz property here is huge, beautiful, clean and well maintained. This was a wonderful family vacation. We are leaving more relaxed, happy, well-fed and sad to be going.

When I decided to go to this hotel, I saw a lot of reviews about some things that gave me an idea of how my experience would be: Bad. This Ritz Carlton hotel only has two things about a property of this brand: The price and the name. I am writing this review as a Marriott Ambassador Elite member. The hotel has very basic problems, for example, they have areas under repair and they are not able to cover them with a screen that prevents guests from seeing the areas that are broken, in disrepair, or under construction. It also has noise problems, it is impossible to sleep after 7am because the cars they use to carry the sheets or cleaning utensils from the hotel from one area to another wake you up. Sometimes you can't sleep in the night, because they do weddings with very loud music until 5am. There are no restaurants with a quality food menu for lunch, restaurants open after 4pm and when you order something for lunch, they offer you fast and fat food at gourmet food prices. Another point against is that they rent spaces in the pool, which is absurd. With the rate level that guests of this hotel pay, that is the bare minimum that should be included. And finally, the hotel has many conventions or company trips that come to get drunk. It's having hundreds of drunk people everywhere when the hotel has families that are uncomfortable. A drunk on my last day even flashed her breasts in front of some kids. The only thing I appreciate is that at least they sent me a table with fruit for my birthday and flower necklaces as a welcome. Of course, I emailed the hotel manager before posting this here, because I think they have a lot to improve. I would not recommend this hotel, nor would I ever come back.

Really nice property. Must be a few dozen acres at least. Quality building, food, staff, and rooms. Very accommodating with requests and the shuttle is a nice touch. I would recomend the pool over the beach as it is quite windy at the beach, but as a result very private. Lots of free amenities like tennis pickle ball basketball cornhole. Would stay again.

Don’t let the name fool you— this is just an average hotel. Felt like I was being nickel and dimed the whole stay. “Ocean view room” means you have a nice view of the pool, but have to lean way over the balcony and look to the side to see any bit of ocean. Nice, large fitness center with its of equipment. Spa was decent.

My husband booked six nights through Priceline. When we checked in, I asked the front desk staffer, Margie, if our room had a view, and she said, "No." I immediately showed her that at every hotel we have stayed, I posted my bikini photos on the balcony, I am a daily swimmer and a view is more important to me than a higher-class or well-equipped room. She found a room with a view which she thought I might like. Indeed, the moment I walked into the room, I was impressed by both the ocean and the pool views. The room was also quiet and I did not need to turn on the fan for white noise. It was well designed with two chairs at the table, instead of one, unlike all the other hotels we stayed at. There were two full-length mirrors in the bathroom. The room size was comfortable for two persons. As a fashionista, I prefer to sit down at the table to do makeup. However, I wish they had also installed a large mirror over the table instead of a picture. But that's a minor issue. The point is, Margie made our stay extremely memorable. I attended two free activities at the hotel. I enjoyed a lei po'o (flower crown) making lesson. At the end of the class, I asked the instructor for the two Haku leis she made. I also attended a hula dance class. The manager gave leis to all the participants. As a flower lover and gardener, I appreciated and was so pleased to receive a rose lei instead of the orchid lei. I wish they also had a self-park area so that guests would be free to leave whenever they liked. We had to call the valet service every time to bring our rental car. They must realize that almost all of their customers are tourists visiting the island. Having a valet service to park and look after cheap rental Chevrolets seems unnecessary. Everything went so well, until the last day when we checked out. The front desk staffer on duty that day gave me a backhanded compliment: she wished she could look as good as me at my age. She already assumed that I was older than her. Then she asked my age. I replied with a smile, "The moment people stare at each other, we already judge ages. I know I look marvelous at any age." The Ritz-Carlton needs to institute better etiquette training for their female staff on how to be respectful of their naturally beautiful customers.

Wonderful accommodations. But the mail polish didn’t last more than a couple days on either of the girls and that was their main reason of going.

Amazing place pricy as heck but if you can afford it then you must visit. Not just the spa but the actual hotel and restaurants too

The spa was beautiful and amenities were fantastic. I enjoyed lounging before hand and afterwards almost more than the actual massage!
