Makakilo Bible Church turned Hawaii from being a surprisingly dark place for our family to being incredibly beautiful. The teaching of and faithfulness to the word of God is the best on island and the matching discipleship of ages children through adults second to none. Having lived all over the globe, we can attest to the rarity of finding churches like MBC where solid "orthodoxy" meets practical "orthopraxy".

We were members of Makakilo Bible Church from 2005 to 2008. We recently visited after 13 years away and were pleased to see the love for God and His Word still abides in this beautiful family of believers. Praise the Lord for that!

Excellent church! Warm, welcoming congregation, lots of resources and a good place to hear correct Biblical information.Childcare on site during services for children newborn to teenage (both 0800 and 1045 services). Sunday School teachers all go through background checks, which is a plus. The preacher is accurate and precise. The elders are well versed and involved, engaging newcomers easily. Music is appropriate and professional.Only downside I can complain about is limited parking or you have to parallel park on Makakilo Drive, which can be a little scary at times.

This is probably the most solid, biblical and theological sound church I’ve ever been to with the sweetest people! I feel challenged in my faith weekly and feel ‘fed.’ Pastor Jon is an amazing preacher!

This is our home in Oahu "Makakilo Baptist Church" my arrival at this Church was thanks to Raynett Cashman I met her at a Costco it all started with a talk about Poi and in the end she invited me to this Church❤️. From the first day I came I felt strange at first because I didn't master the language, but after service after service that was not an impediment to understanding Pastor Jon Eliff's messages. Then the Pastor and Angel began to translate the services into Spanish so that there would be no doubt. We met many families (Herrera's, Fryer's, Revolorio's, Mejia's, Hendershot's) and we truly carried them in our hearts and prayers. May the LORD continue to bless you

This is no longer a pre-school, but the church is still fully functioning. We love our Church Family here. My wife and I have been members at this church for a year now; and before then we had attended irregularly for two years. From the time we first showed up, to the present day, the pastors and the members of this church have been kind, warm, and loving. So from an interpersonal perspective, we are deeply grateful for this church. But greater still is the commitment they hold to the reformed faith, congregational singing, expository preaching, missions, and prayer. Makakilo Baptist Church is a wonderful place to gather and worship on the Lord's day and beyond.
