Everyone that works here is so friendly and stoked to help you learn how to kite! I had my lesson with Gabi and she was a phenomenal teacher. I would highly recommend lessons with her and anyone else at the school, everyone is great!

I took a few lessons with Gabi and I definitely recommend her and the school to anyone that is learning how to kite in Maui. Gabi was very patient, observant and knowledgeable. In particular, she was great at explaining the various aspects of kitesurfing in simple and actionable terms. This allowed me to take her feedback and apply it throughout the week. Additionally, scheduling sessions was easy and the equipment was new and well maintained. I would gladly come back to Maui Kitesurfing School if I'm back in town.

What an unbelievable experience. If you want to learn in an environment where your teacher is passionate about your complete experience, look no further. My teacher is John and he is a master at making this sport understandable and just plain fun. Get ready for an energy surge you may not have felt since you were a kid!!

Scheduled for a beginner lesson for 2 at 2 pm, and also called a week before to confirm. On the day of the lesson, my partner and I were looking for the truck at the beach and couldn't find it, and called twice and texted with no response. We drove to the office and the truck was parked right there. We went in to the store that also happens to be the office and turns out that there was no wind that day so the lesson was canceled. My partner and I were not informed at all, and had to text them to refund our lessons later that day.

Never got to experience the lessons themselves, but the school has been very unprofessional and ruined our holiday plans. I will not recommend them to anyone.

Tyler is an incredible instructor! Took an intermediate two day lesson with him. Very attentive and professional: he had his eyes on me the entire time and always had great advice and positive reinforcement. You can’t go wrong with MKS!

Having never been kiteboarding before I was a bit nervous that I wouldn't be able to pick up enough in time to make a lesson worth while, but I'm definitely glad I did it. Josh explained the mechanics of the kite in a way that made good sense and tailored the lessons to my abilities. Initially I had planned on just taking a single 3 hour lesson, but at the end of it I decided to come back the next day and pick up where we left off. It's definitely worth it to spend some money to get a jump start on getting the basics down. Josh was a great instructor. Will go back to him if we make it back to Maui!

I had a 3 hour lesson with Josh from the Kiteboarding School of Maui. It was a good experience. Josh is a good instructor, who was able to help me with my issues on the water.
