I bought a set of 5 coasters and within 90 days they swelled and the surfaces are pealing away on 4!. At $15 a piece... they should last well over 1 season. They're so warped I can't place glasses on them anymore.

Bought a carving of the Hawaiian Islands, they send me the wrong one, which is significantly cheaper. Been asking for a return label for four months, and they still can't send me one. Most companies will send you the right item first, and have you return the wrong one. They can't even maintain an email conversation. Just awful customer service.

The lady Darlene was very rude to me and my fiancé. Treated us like children and profiled us. Kept hovering over us and even though there were other people in the store. She kept following us for no reason, literally gave her no reason to keep following us. Wouldn’t recommend going there unless you want to be treated as if you are a criminal. Disgusting. This was in hawaii.

Hello. Just wanting to know if anyone had purchased the "Koa Honu Wall Carvings" and have any comments you would like to share? Am interested in getting the 8, 11 and 14 inch carvings. Been very happy with my purchases (except for the China-made face masks) and this would be my largest purchase thus far and just want to know of any comments on these Honu wall carvings. Thank you.

Last year (2019) my Koa Kamehameha V table was knocked over and broken in several places. I contacted Martin and MacArthur for a repair estimate and provided them with photographs of the table. M&M's response was to tell me that they were having an annual sale on the table and that I should buy a new table rather than fix the one I had. The sale price for the new table was over $3,000. I contacted M&M again and asked that they give me a repair estimate because the top of the table was undamaged, contained beautiful curly Koa figuring, and was personally signed for me by John MacArthur, the last partner of M&M before it was sold to investors in or about 2008. M&M's second response was that it would cost over $3,000 to repair the table. So, I found a furniture repair company locally in Northern California that charged me just $160 to repair and refinish the damaged parts of the table. The table looks like brand new again (it was twelve years old). I agree with other reviewers that M&M makes beautiful wood furniture (That's why I give M&M 2 stars rather than 1). But I disagree with other reviewers who say M&M has great customer service. M&M appears to be only in it for the money. They are a far cry from real craftsmen who stand behind their work.

We really saved to buy our koa furniture (entry table, TV console, dining room hutch, display cabinet) from Martin and MacArthur. We could only afford one piece at a time because it's pretty pricey. I get goose bumps everytime I look at my furniture. The curly koa, the clean and classic lines and the craftsmanship are unparalleled. It's not just furniture that you get tired of and throw away. These are heirlooms that can be passed on for generations to come. Simon, the co-owner is so knowledgeable and kind. I'm still saving money for a chow table.

A amazing place to find Koa wood furniture. This is the place they hand make what you see on the show room in the very high end stores, but most importantly, the koa wood from the islands is amazing to look a furniture state. must see!
