The people are very nice but the dealership is horribly outdated. Some updating and it could really be a great little place.

Terrible experience, CANAAN KRAMER is a terrible sales representative. While test driving the vehicle he was talking bad about his GM the entire time. When it came to purchase the vehicle he knew the safety was important expired and still has not gave us the paper with the trucks weight to get it legal. Had to call multiple times to try and figure out what bank the truck was financed thru. Canaan said that the parts for the truck we bought was ordered when we test drove and said it would be in soon. A week after the truck was bought I called and asked when the mirror will come in and he said they just ordered it. I wouldn’t recommend aloha Kia to anyone especially if this guy is your sale representative turn around and drive to another dealer save yourself the time. If I could give this location a -5 stars I would they don’t even deserve one star.

Worst experience all around. The salesman told me a difference price than what the weasle finance guy said I'd have to pay. He added $8000 to sticker price. Tries to tell me it was their shipping fees. Then swore I should be grateful he knocked a few grand off. I immediately had issues with the car and their service department could never figure it out. Once got an oil change that was a quarter low when I left. Now that car is paid off they can't seem to get my title to my. Been over 2 months. Online canteen figure it out, called and it's just endless wait time. Finally got through on the phone and they said they'd send it . Still waiting. Went into the dealership and they say they can't help. The only thing these guys know how to do is rip people off.

Any time I’ve needed recall service on my Kia, the mechanics have been very helpful and accommodating.

Check engine light came on while we were driving from Waikoloa to Hilo, called Aloha Kia Hilo, and ask them to check it out and they told us to bring it by. Fortunately no major problems, just reset some sensors, but also washed the car and then did not charge us anything. I would highly recommend them, they were very professional and accommodating. They did all of this despite a full schedule. THANK YOU

The last word that should be associated with this place is “Aloha”. They are despicable. They screwed my dad horribly. They took advantage of an 88 year old kupuna with Parkinson’s disease. When I spoke with them it was very obvious they didn’t care. They admitted that the sales person who dealt with my dad was less than desirable and then said “there’s a reason why that salesman is no longer here”. Yet, “Aloha” Kia would do nothing to help the situation. Everyone knows that it is not just the salesperson that is involved in the selling of a vehicle. There is a team of people that sell you a vehicle when you purchase from a dealership. So to blame just the sales person is quite sad. He became the scapegoat. What Aloha Kia doesn’t realize is they hired this person. But again, no responsibility taken by Aloha Kia. KUPUNAS BEWARE!!! If this is how they will treat a kupuna with a disease, think of how they will treat anyone else. There is absolutely no aloha at Aloha Kia.

The general manager and salesperson, Canaan in particular, are exceptionally unprofessional. Their approach to sales is egregious, employing tactics that are manipulative and disingenuous. They lure you in with promises of friendship and good deals, only to hold onto your license to prevent you from leaving and waste your time until you feel coerced into agreeing to a deal that ultimately turns out to be a rip-off. Furthermore, they have the audacity to run your credit without your consent. My advice: steer clear of them at all costs!

The service department is the reason we absolutely refuse to buy any kia cars no matter what. This was years ago, but we came in for an ECU update, they refused to perform it. They also claimed to have driven the car around and found no faults, this was an absolute lie. The odometer was exactly the same, and if you drove the car for more than a minute it would go into "limp mode". They just did not feel like fixing the car.Another story: This was also years ago. My coworker bought a new kia, he had some issue with the steering column. He went in constantly for almost a year. They absolutely refused to fix his problem no matter how many times he went in. He eventually gave up on it and traded it in and ate the loss.Kia cars are pretty hit or miss, if you're unlucky enough to get one of those misses, do not expect to ever get any actual help from these guys, better to just trade it in.I discourage every person that shows interest in Kia from buying one, doesn't matter if they're a friend or a stranger. As soon as I hear someone say they want a Kia, I tell them not to because of how terrible the service department is.
