I was kind of bummed that we only saw one 711 while visiting the Big Island. I get so excited to come here for their snacks because a bunch of the restaurants that I booked marked while visiting are either not open on Sundays, Mondays or even Tuesdays or everything closes super early!!! I wish we had these options back home in LA

What is up with this location? Last few times I visited this 7-11 there were police cars with their lights on already parked or coincidentally just pulling in while I'm inside the store. AND NO they weren't coming inside to buy anything. As a customer I would rather stay away from places that attract any kind of trouble. AND call it bad luck this location was out of my favorite yummy snack food too. When they are fully stocked you can expect Zippy's type of food for much more reasonable prices and consistent quality control. Might be better off going to the Kilauea Avenue and Kawili Street 7-11s. No wait the Kawili Street 7-11 parking lot is pretty sketchy after it gets dark especially later in the evening. Kilauea Avenue location seems to be the safest outside.

Wonderful service. Once I was stranded out in Hilo and living in Kona when I missed the last bus for the night the staff here allowed me to sleep on the floor until dawn. I'm real thankful for these people who work here. For I've seen them allow homeless person's to spend the night inside the store without any fees or complaints. May I recommend this store to all homeless who need to have a place to sleep at night. This was just wonderful. So if your homeless and need a place to sleep come here to this location right now.

First of all, I need to say that I love 7-11 stores. However, this particular store has got to be the worst 7-11 in Hilo. There are a lot of homeless people hanging around the store. I realize that it's not a crime but the sidewalk is filthy and is in need of a power wash. This is a tough situation for the ownership but it remains to be something that they needs to be addressed soon. I realize that having security personnel at the store 24-7 is very expensive. However I believe that all stores will have to provide a safe place to shop otherwise people will slowly begin to avoid those establishments. It'll be part of the cost of doing business. They can charge more for their products in order to accomplish this. One last thing.....the parking situation is very frustrating to say the least. Limited number of stalls and a b**** to navigate around that configuration. I can't understand why the company doesn't understand how important it is to have ample parking. Many times the parking is full so I drive off. So frustrating.
