“Been going here for years, the food is so good and the people are friendly. They absolutely nailed the chorizo taste for my taste buds. I recommend their meats and the little kitchen in the back. It is a grocery store and there is usually only like one cook so a bit of a wait for some authentic tacos but well worth the wait.”

“The only problem I have with this store is the same problem as other Publix locations. Please train your employees how to properly bag. Cold with cold, frozen with frozen etc. and stop putting raw meat in with other foods like candy and produce.”

“Publix is traditionally the store that you can count on being clean and well stocked. Yet this store has even more... people who make a difference. Employees/owners who take pride in their work and go the extra mile. They always have a smile and kind word even when you can tell they have worked a long shift. The pharmacist is always professional, caring, with an attention to detail. A couple times has had me take a dose and wait nearby to ensure I do not have an adverse reaction. The fresh fish cabinet is always exemplary the gentleman always ensures my order is complete and offers helpful suggestions on preparation. Chelsie in your deli/bakery section always has a kind word, smile, and remembers my order. I even recall a couple years back Marc Norman changing a customers tire for her on a hot summer day while wearing his white shirt. Employees/owners of this store care about the job they do. Often I have noticed stress on the faces of many (customers included) yet they do their best to add a bit of sunshine to your day. We are all dealing with this crazy world in many ways. It is refreshing to see people who choose to make a positive difference even through job excellence, a smile, and kind word.”

“I absolutely LOVE Lidl!! Best grocery store EVER!! First thing you notice is it's so clean!! Then you just smell everything from the bakery....oh dont get me started on the yummy bakery!! They have awesome really fresh fruits and veggies, and even things like hummus, deli meats, steaks, ribs, and I could go on and on!! They have everything and MORE!! AND you really get your money's worth at Lidl. They have awesome name brands, but let me tell you, the Lidl brand is better than anything!! Maybe the best thing is the helpfulness of the staff! They know where everything is and they will go check for things in the back if it's not on the floor. We got checked out by Tony, who is the best cashier ever! He was fast, patient with me (because I'm old!), showed me how to use the Lidl app, and was just so kind and helpful. So many thanks to Tony! If you haven't shopped at Lidl, I highly recommend Lidl. Quit overspending for the same stuff, this place blows the big grocery store chains out of the water!! I won't shop any where else!!”

“Great pricing, quality merchandise. The only complaint was a situation where a pallet jack was parked in the middle of the aisle in front of glass bottle, double stacked cartons of soft drinks of a mixed variety on the top shelf. Not only is a safety issue since a 4 pack shifted and started to fall on me, I was stuck between the pallet jack and the soft drinks that were double stacked. It was a poor choice for whoever did it.”

“There's all kinds of fresh healthy food in this wonderful market whether it's vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, Keto or just a whole food.There's a mini Cafe in the store with amazing, delicious food including some of my favorites—their bone broth soup, scrumptious and healthy avocado turkey sandwich, a Valentine's Day vegan heart-shaped cookie, their smash cookie with healthy "M&Ms"/chocolate candies and a hint of coconut flavor) and this delicious pumpkin pie smoothie in they have in the Autumn. This wonderful store is definitely one of Towne Lake's treasures ❤?????.”

It'a divey but that's part of their charm. These types of stores are disappearing quickly in place of QT / Race Trac. Savor these mom and pops while you can.”

Go talk to Nikki, who oversees the selections, and ask her what she's excited about- I just got home with an Israeli Merlot and some incredible house brined olives. She's really killing it with her wine selections- everything is very interesting and fairly priced. If you're into wine at all, you need to stop by. Cheers!”

“Best prices around but 3X now I've ended up with one avocado rotting, lettuce that turned brown inside of the head so I could not see it before I purchased it, and strawberries that were rotten inside where you could not see before buying. Aside from the "fresh" items, the boxed & frozen things have been largely money-saving. Thank you, Aldi !”

“This store is an oldie but goodie. It's been here for at least 20 years or more I gather and it's in good shape. It use to be an easy store to get to until they got the bright idea of adding a concrete median to the side roads so now if you're coming from the other side there are no more chicken lanes for you to risk your life to turn from...drat! They have all of your greatest hits. All the sugar water you can think of...they got it. Mountain Dew, Red Bull, Coke-diet, caffeine free, cherry, zero and god knows whatever else they come out with. As for your snacking considerations they have Cheetos, Doritos, Skittles in all your favorite flavors, Starbursts, Mentos and of course Slim Jims..... 1226th review 2/27/2018 146th for 2018”

“February 29 there was an incident in meat market department so when I bought the ham turkey and some cheese and got home, I noticed something bad about it took it back and they handle that with professional and courtesy, and to top it all off got called from the top manager and they handled it with more courtesy and gave me something for the trouble so that's what I call it professional and that's why I love Kroger's.”

“This Publix has the best workers. Some stand out more than others and go beyond to help you. There is a sweet lady at the subs and chicken who always make us feel welcomed. Her name is Jammie. She is the sweetest most caring person i have known there. If i need the chicken to be cooked longer or the wings to have a little extra zing, she is always doing that for me. I have had several other people not as nice and not as caring while there. One is a manager i think Chris is his name and the other is a pregnant employee who i have said excuse me and they both walk away without even stopping to see if i need something. I have to hunt someone down for help.”

“I wish I did these updates more... because after 15 years... I quit Publix. And it was this location I was at that entire time. I actually quit in December of 2021. I felt bad because I ended up quitting during the holidays when I actually wanted to stay to help out. I guess I cared for about helping them. But unfortunately and fortunately .. I chose myself first.. and I quit so I could follow my dreams of moving to New York City. No matter how much I've ever said that was negative about that place... it was my home. My second home. I met so many incredible people there. Sometimes I catch myself crying because I even miss the regular customers. I hope they don't forget me. And I hope I see some of them when I come to visit. I'm getting emotional thinking about it. It was rewarding. Talking to the people I've gotten to talk to. Getting to know them. Moving up. The friends and family I've made there. The kindness... I lost 4 pets in my time of working there, two grandparents... and two favorite celebrities... each time my Publix family was always there for me. Everyone knew my birthday. Everyone knew I loved Madonna and loved when they played it. Everyone also knew how obsessed and in love I was with NYC. I'm so far away now... but 880 will always have a piece of my heart. I love all my beautiful friends there. Many are gone now. Some are still there. But I love all of them. And I'm grateful for every single one.”
