I love Banfield Pet Hospital. I've used them for all my dogs. My dog gets so excited whenever I take him there for his follow ups and the staff loves on him like my dog belongs to them. ☺️? I truly appreciate all the love & care you show Banfield.

I was not pleased with this facility at all. Poor customer service the vet didn't have a caring bone in his body he looked tired and wasn't concerned at allDuring my check in the girl act like she was putting everything down I said and she didn't. I only went there because I had a great grooming with Pooh and I will continue the grooming long as Pooh us there. The vet side needs to be removed staffed ASAP. SMH Koda wasn't happy when I picked her up. ?Maybe they can take some pointers from the Decatur facility.

Service wasn’t as great. I called and scheduled my dog for a surgery which was supposed to be scheduled next thursday and the lady scheduled my appointment thursday the week of and I was not notified about the appointment the day of. Horrible customer service.

Vet was always rushed and irritated with questions. Staff continually tried to up-sell me on testing and medications.When your pet dies, you are still on the hook for hundreds of dollars to complete your annual "wellness" plan. Inexcusable.

Banfield can be very hit or miss. Having lived all over the greater Atlanta area, I’ve had the chance to sample a number of locations. The Banfield on LaVista Rd is far and away the best Banfield location in the Atlanta area. My dog was very sick for a long time and no veterinarian that we took her to for over a year of tests was able to identify the root cause. The veterinarian at the LaVista location was able to diagnose my dog with a rare condition known as Atypical Addison’s Disease within minutes of evaluating her which he later confirmed with a simple lab test. We now go in for monthly maintenance injections and she’s healthier than she’s ever been! I will forever be grateful for the folks at the LaVista Banfield Hospital for saving my sweet girl.

Edit 2023 - All the stars!!!Came back to this location and the difference was night and day.Dr. Richard Noel was AMAZING, he went above and beyong to make sure my pup had a great experience.Patience was key, front desk and technicians were friendly and helpful too!Will definetly make sure to come again for this Veterinarian! He chanhed our mind on this location.He is loving, undersranding and knowledgable.2020- 1 StarMy pet was not greeted or acknowledged upon arrival at a Vet? That should have been my first warning to not go through with the visit, the people at front don't seem like they care about their jobs. Once my pet was taken back it took less than 5 min to give her all the vaccines needed, heartworm test and trim her nails. Not to mention that she also supposedly got a regular examination of eyes, ears, etc. I've heard of quick service but seriously? A dog was evaluated thoroughly in 5 min or less?Afterwards my sweet tempered dog was terrified of the vet and tried actively running away, they chalked it up to her getting her nails trimmed and not liking it. How could people whose job is to be around animals not take the time to greet them, soothe them and make sure they're comfortable with the situation? When the topic was raised about the poor job they did trimming her nails, the vet was too agressive trying to grab her paw to examine it. My dog was actively squirming around trying to get away! Definitely not coming back and will let others know to take their pets to caring professionals.

Brought my sweet Coops McGoots in today due mostly to me being extremely worrisome but as well as some minor stomach issues he was having... Christian and Dr. Walker were the absolute best! They both took their time to talk with me, answered all of my questions, and didn't try to up-sell me on things that weren't necessary. I used the free visit coupon from the Banfield website, but I will definitely pay the next time I need to bring him in because of the great services they provided. Thank you guys!

The best Banfield location in Atlanta! I’ve been to so many other locations and have never had a staff that was as caring, compassionate, and helpful as the staff at Tucker.I brought my cat who suddenly could not use her back legs to another Banfield location earlier in the day and the vet there recommended euthanasia without checking her out throughly. I wanted a second opinion and came to the Tucker location and my cat was treated with such care and concern. The front staff reassured me she would get the time she needs with the vet. When we were finally seen, Dr. Adil went above and beyond. He said she just had arthritis as almost old cats do. He spent nearly 30 minutes with my cat to check every system and answer my questions. He said he would absolutely not recommend euthanasia and she likely just needs a pain injection to help with her arthritis.The morning after, she was walking around and had completely rebounded. He even called me before the clinic opened to check on her.Dr. Adil and the Tucker staff saved my cat’s life.

I just want to praise the staff at banfield. Angela was awesome! And the gentlemen that was there(I didn’t catch his name) he was great. Will definitely go back if my pup has anymore issues

We just moved to the area and have always had good experiences at our previous Banfield location. I really wanted to like the location in Tucker since it's closest to our home and got decent reviews but after taking my dog in for a visit today I will not be back. I felt rushed from the get-go with the front desk staff which was not great but I was willing to disregard if we really liked the doctor. Unfortunately this was not the case. I don't think there was one sentence I was able to get out fully without the doctor (Dr. Adil) interrupting me. I felt rushed, condescended, and not listened to during the entire post-appointment debrief. I would recommend taking your pet to another Banfield location instead.

I would definitely recommend to not take your pets here to this hospital. We had an appointment with my pet that was having a heart problem and they didn’t even bother giving us a call or explaining what he had based on his lab results. We come in for another appointment and doctor was so arrogant and treated us very poorly. They were just going to test my pet again with no explanation and take our money for no reason. Dr. Adeil needs to work on his attitude and how to treat his patients. Had a horrible experience and definitely not coming back to this place.

DO NOT ENROLL IN THEIR WELLNESS PLAN!When my dog had a medical emergency, I called my local Banfield to get him an appointment ASAP. They were not able to see him for a few hours, so they referred us to the emergency vet near by. Unfortunately, we were not able to bring our boy home. Almost $1300 later and we decided to put him down due to his very poor prognosis.A week after his passing I called Banfield corporate to remove him from the wellness plan we activated him only 6 weeks earlier. They said I am responsible to pay the remaining 11 months of the wellness plan or pay for his services from the previous month at cost, which ever is cheaper. In our case, it was less expensive to pay for the 11 remaining months of the wellness plan.I was absolutely d*** founded. I am grieving the loss of our dog and Banfield corporate wants me to continue paying for his care through the rest of the year or pay the cost of his original treatment without the plan discounts JUST so they can reach their bottom line. I am disgusted by the lack of compassion this veterinary cooperation is built on.Banfield is solely a BUSINESS and not a veterinary practice. Perhaps the medical professionals truly care for your pets’ care, but they aren’t the ones running this business. There are so many better vets out there that run their own practice and value the compassion pet owners need. Don’t make the same mistake I did, avoid Banfield!
