Needed 2- 1-1/2" PVC Union the guy said if not on the shelf we don't have it. He went back to look tried to give me a coupling, I said no I need Union he said we don't carry them.

Austin and Barbara are awesome people and deserve a raise!! I’m being serious Marvin’s management ( they do) it’s hard to find good help. They are such outstanding people and are willing to help even when they are swamped with other things to do!!! The world needs more people like yall!!! Thank God Summerville GA does!!!!

The Prices never match when you get to the register compared to the shelf price. Everything is over priced and most often no one knows about anything they are selling. The guys who work out in lumber are the best thing Marvin's has going for them. They are very friendly and helpful.

Customer service inside the store is non existent. Every time I make the mistake of trying to ask an employee for help, I get the same response. You just have to look and match up what you are looking for. We may or may not have it. This applies to plumbing, bolts, and electrical parts. A manager actually told my husband that she was busy with a truck order and didn’t have time to help him.I feel like this review is unfair to the guys in the lumberyard. They are always very helpful and really a fantastic crew.

I usually shop at Marvin's in Summerville Ga. But, after today, that will happen no more. If you live in Georgia, you probably know what a gate card is. If you don't, a gate card is a tax exempt card that basically allows farmers, etc. to buy things used on the farm. If you are a veteran, however, you get a military discount at select locations, which allows a percentage off your purchace (minus sales items of course). Before today, I have never had a problem spending thousands of dollars at a time on materials and such and getting my military discount and then using my tax exempt card. Today, I was told that they were no longer allowed to give 2 discounts, it was either one or the other, military discount or tax exempt. CLEARLY, tax exempt is not a discount that should even be associated with my time in the military and should have nothing to do as to whether or not I get a military discount.
