Today right before pulling up from Walmart to Murphy's 1/8th mile away (Statesboro Location.) Checked Murphy's App it was $273.9 per Gallon for Regular Unleaded Gas. Went straight to Murphy's Pumptook 1 minute. Pulled up to pump at Murphy's and the * Pump read $273.9 per gallon. Walked straight to Cashier window and paid for fill up. Got back to Pump and started pumping and the price jumped to $309.9 per gallon that quick. Have screen shots from Murphy's App and had looked at Gas Buddy also. Both were still showing $273.9 for Regular Unleaded at Murphy's. Prices didn't change on their App until we were almost home 10-15 minutes later after pumping gas at Murphy's and arriving home. That's completely wrong of Murphy's. This was a bit after 1pm on 12/19/23. That's a 36 cents per gallon quick price jump for the time it takes to pay and then walk back briskly to Pump #3. Will definitely change our Fueling preferences. Beware of these quick "No Notice Price hikes". Prices should change at a set time as after closing or at an announced price change time at the location and in the App.

Usually nice and friendly service, not so much tonight. Posted hours online say closes at 11:30. At 9:57 was told they couldn’t open the bathroom bc they close at 10. Technically still open when I asked to please please please open the bathroom. So much for helping a lady out in an emergency bathroom situation. Not like I don’t spend thousands of dollars on gas a year there or anything. So incredibly rude!!!!!

cheapest non-rewards gas station in town most of the time. rather go to the Neighborhood Marketplace gas station as the layout is more open and there isn't a bum sitting there with a cardboard sign every day. considering Murphy's literally has a hiring sign right there, i find a lot of irony in this. but who am i to have common sense.

No one ever answers the phone and it literally be 3 people inside that small boxed store. I purposely went there, stood in line and called just to see if they answer but they all just stood there.

Stopped here to buy gas for our convoy north. Had half a tank by the time I got to the Tennessee mountains, neither car in the convoy was making power like it should've. Felt like I was getting around half power from the engine, the ford fiesta was losing speed up hill at full gas. Stopped to buy premium gas, and octane booster just to get my car to run right. Idk what they put in the gas here but would not recommend buying it.

Punched the regular unleaded button but it started dispensing premium and charging for it. Fortunately I noticed after about one gallon, stopped the pump and filled up somewhere else.
