“Maria and Brack are phenomenal and really care about their members. Every coach has been very encouraging and helpful through the process. The classes have been fun but challenging and are adaptive for any fitness level.”

“I was in town seeing family for the holidays and decided to drop in for the week. Jason the owner was awesome, he showed me around the gym and treated me like I was a years-long member. The equipment is unmatched anywhere I’ve ever been, everything from machines to Olympic bumpers to IPF approved racks and competition plates.”

“Great four months going here while living in Statesboro. Usually the only person in the gym, it was always clean and quiet. Absolutely recommended over a cookie cutter gym.”

“Love this gym. Never too crowded and has all the essentials for a good workout. The fitness classes are great as well. They also sale shakes (including vegan options) when you need something after a great workout.”

“The courts are starting to crack, but other than that they are in great shape. At least you don't have to pay for lights like you would over at Mill Creek. Only downside is that there are only four tennis courts; whereas the courts over at Mill Creek have ten courts.”

“Everyone is so friendly, but the thing I love the most about Planet Fitness, Statesboro is how clean the whole place is! I’ve never been into any business that employees are constantly cleaning! It’s wonderful to see.”

“I recently moved to Statesboro, and on the recommendation of a friend, who is a tenured professor at Georgia Southern, he suggested that I join. I have had two surgeries and onset of an immunocompromised disease in the past three to four years. I gained about 30 lbs, and my cardiovascular system is weak. 180Fitness has several classes taught by Courtney, Holly, Carl and Kate, and they are challenging and accessible to me despite my physical impediments. I do not feel self-conscious in their classes. They understand I may modify poses in yoga, body flow, or pilates. And I am encouraged to do what I need for my body. Courtney pushes her spin class, and I feel more empowered with every class that I go to. Carl gives detailed instruction in his pilates class, and if I can make all of his classes, I may have a waist again. Kate has the most soothing, kind voice that I’ve ever heard. Her body flow class is deceptively difficult even if you are in shape. Holly and Courtney have beautifully sequenced yoga classes, and though I often fall behind, I don’t feel embarrassed. My R foot is unbelievable pain, but I can tell it is stronger. When I need to go the wall for support, I go to the wall. No big deal. Some weeks I am not able to go to class due to my illness, but when I do make the classes, I am always welcomed. I want to do more, and I hope in the future, I can. Sometimes I feel like I can live a life without pain and isolation. In part, my hope springs from a gym in a small town in Ga where I find myself moving again. I only have one friend in this town. But when I go to 180Fitness, I sometimes think that I will make more. I am not stared at and no one asks me if I am pregnant. Tacoma is a beautiful place, but people can be cruel and unkind. I feel grateful to Statesboro and 180Fitness. Some of those 180Fitness weight lifters, who are fabulously ripped, would find their routines taken to the next level by all the classes that I have mentioned. And maybe, in the next few months, they will find me with 2 and 5 lbs weights (haha) right beside of them. Thank you 180Fitness.”

“I truly appreciate the staff and courteous staff and considerable effort to be supportive to all in Statesboro. The group classes are the most fulfilling and while trying to reach our fitness and well-rounded health goals. Lots of variety of lifting weights, gym equipment and group classes. I participate in the Spin classes with mostly Justine, Boxing classes with Josh and senior (Active and Ageless) with Hannah, Jean, Jess and Rachel. Thank you, Statesboro YMCA, for being so helpful towards all ages and especially towards the seniors. Watching the Team Tormenta stretch has always been helpful as they stretch for hours and I need to stretch more.”
