My pets have experienced a wide range of issues, from regular check ups, to dental extraction, to possibly cancerous biopsies and crystals in urine.
The staff here has been very patient with me and my many many questions, and the doctors always take time to clearly and thoroughly explain options, outcomes, and frankly I would not trade my experiences here for anything.

I recently took my Guinea Pig, Sammy, to this hospital, AHSS, for an exam. They did a thorough exam and it was reasonably priced. (They are "exotic" and regular vets.) Ultimately, Sammy had to be euthanized unfortuntely. This is the most compassionate and competent veterinary practice I have been to in my life. Everyone, from Dr. Ballowe and Dr. Ahearn to the office staff, Rick, Nia, Rizzy and Andre were so kind and helpful. I've had multiple animals from rescue for many years and I have never been so impressed.

Dr. Still and all of the staff are so compassionate, patient, and informative. It means so much that we are able to such a caring place for our dog. They continue to be incredibly responsive, and that has made all of the difference for us after we got our rescue pup. I can't recommend them enough!

Dr. Gafford and the staff at Animal Hospital of Sandy Springs are such kind and compassionate care givers. I have had to euthanize two beloved pets and Dr Gafford has such a kind spirit and you can tell how much she loves animals. Thank you for making my fur babies comfortable in their last moments.
