Only one tree for shade. There are metal playground structures and swings for kids, but who would want to bring their kid out here without any trees for shade, or some of those triangular man-made canopies. This is the south. The south gets hot! Plenty of concrete, plenty of metal benches, and metal playground structures to retain the suns' heat. The only time one can see families enjoying this park is when the weather is perfect (as in sunny but quite cool outside). Whoever designed this park wanted to do so for show/curb appeal, with its concrete walking trail, and couple of artsy structures, not for actual use as a park.
Go to the Morgan Falls Park or Dunwoody Park instead where there is plenty shade, plenty of seating, plenty of playground (swings, merry-go-round, slides, etc.,) for kids, at Dunwoody Park there is an area to hang up your hammock, and even a piano.

Beautiful place I come here every week to just breathe the fresh air.
Restrooms: The restrooms are very clean and well kept.
Picnic area: It has a huge picnic area that's covered and it's lovely.

This is a lovely, little park in Roswell, The playground equipment is more artistic than practical for playing on! My granddaughter and I had fun here for a short period.

I love this place so much! Whether it's walking my dog or just exploring on my own, it's always peaceful, even though it's right on our major streets here in Sandy Springs.

It's just a strip next to a busy road, got some swings for kids but if you just wanna walk a park then find something else.

This park is such a gem! It’s in a straight line so you can’t get lost. There’s plenty of parking.
But my favorite thing is how spaced out the play areas are. Most parks have the playground bunched up together in one area, which makes sense. But the play areas here span the entire park.
This makes me thankful for all the parents with neurodivergent children who need space at the playground. Who don’t want to be forced to play right next to other children.
Love this park. Will be back again and again

Large park with swings of different heights.
Got whee chair accessible slides of nice designs. Got multiple entry gates across the length of the park. Got well maintained restrooms. Good for kids biking too.
