Dr. Johansen is an EXCEPTIONAL vet who took my concerns seriously and helped my dogs through very difficult illnesses and scary moments, and helped us through the unexpected loss of another animal. This is such a dynamic duo and you cannot go wrong with coming to see them!”

“These folks found our very long lost missing cat. We live in Marietta and somehow she got clear here. It’s been a little over a year since we last seen her. I’ve had her since hurricane irma when I found her and her kittens we lived on the beach then. After that ordeal I got her spayed and eventually we moved from the beach in Florida to here in Georgia. She’s always been a bit feral and has a taste for being outside and she goes in and out of the home. She can’t be contained inside. She one day just never came home and we looked and searched for her for several months. I figured that we would likely never find her and she had found a new home. Fast forward we got a message she was at the animal clinic here. They held her for us and we drove and got her back home. We have her adjusting in a quiet room for a bit until she’s let out. Hopefully she doesn’t decide to ever go on an adventure like that again. lol she’s had quite the adventures from us finding her in the storm to this. Thank you they even stayed late due to traffic to get her to us. My teen daughter is thrilled to see her again.”

I paid $600 dollars more than I usually would have just for yearly shots, and they coudnt even explain what all they did.”

We were given their name by our mobile Vet, Dr. Christi and Carmelle of Gentle Touch Mobile Vet when we were approaching the time to help our sweet girl, Mitty, gently leave this world. Mitty was 20 years old and we received her urn and paw print today. Dr Christi and Carmelle delivered the packaged items from Heavenly Paws. We sat down and opened each and every item they sent us after they provided Mitty's aftercare. The attention to detail was so reassuring that Mitty was respectfully cared for by Heavenly Paws. “We recently had to put our elderly cat Annabelle down at Holcomb Bridge Animal Hospital. Everyone from the receptionist, to the vet techs and especially Dr.Elizabeth Medved made the worst day so much easier for us. Our whole family came to be with Annabelle as she passed. Dr.Medved and Troy our Vet Tech explained everything in detail about what they would do and what we could expect. Dr.Medved was so sensitive and kind while all of us. I’m sure Dr. Medved performs euthanasias all the time but she treated Annabelle and our family with such care and respect that it didn’t feel routine at all.
I can’t say enough about this animal hospital. I never feel like I’m being sold treatments. They always give quotes even if you don’t ask. And they always give options. We have never had a bad experience here.”

“Please, trust me as a pet owner. I cannot recommend this place enough for your pet healthcare. I moved from HI with my dog, and one of the things I worried the most was finding a great vet. I had the best vet team in HI, and it is not easy to find a great caring vet in a new town. I did try a couple of places for my dog - one in Norcross and another in Peachtree Corners. They were just meh and expensive, pushing for unnecessary labs. I later found out why - they were a part of a giant umbrella group meaning they push for profits. And that shouldn't be the case for our pets. Anyhow, I chanced up on this vet hospital, and I could not be happier. Very competent, so kind, so knowledgeable. I am very happy. I don't review a lot, but definitely wanted to spread word about this great vet hospital. I highly recommend.”

“I can't believe I have been using this clinic since 2020 without writing a review to say how much I like them. I found VCA LILBURN because my next-door neighbor's reminder postcard was misdelivered years ago, and I kept the name in my hip pocket, waiting for the addition of a dog into my home. That opportunity came in 2020 when COVID converted me into a remote worker and I was wanting companionship. My dog Rocky came to me at age 10, and this clinic has been so supportive and caring! In his first year with me, they guided me through the process for getting him cancer surgery for a mass on his leg with Blue Pearl. Rocky's health is what I would expect from an older dog with some chronic conditions and plenty of arthritis. Dr. Boudreau and the wonderful team of vet techs and support staff have been able to guide me through conservative and effective treatment to keep Rocky happy and comfortable. I use the VCA Care Club for senior dogs that allows me to get his routine work done at a discount over year, and included with that are as many office visits as needed at no additional charge. That benefit has served me well, and ultimately has resulted in me feeling like a team member in Rocky's care.

If you have read this far, and don't know about the monthly Librela injection for arthritis, I have to say I am just as excited about it as the staff was when they introduced it to me! It hasn't turned my 14 year old dog into a puppy, but he is so much more comfortable than he was six months ago!

I forgot to mention boarding. Honestly, I am like other people who don't enjoy boarding their pets. It is much more satisfying to have Rocky cared for in my home. However, the confidence I have in VCA LILBURN is high and I use their boarding service when the occasion calls for it. Naturally, Rocky is always happy to go home, and I know his boarding visits create a bit of anxiety, but he is accustomed to going there, and the staff absolutely love him and treat him well.

“Went for the first time this past week with my pup, Ari. The check in staff were super friendly and inviting. Dr. Bishop was awesome and just kept it straight without feeling like I was being "sold" something. I also like the fact that the appointment starts and ends with the vet instead of telling a vet tech everything and then retelling the vet the same exact thing when they come into the room. Dr. Bishop was super patient with my timid pup which is always appreciated. Will be back with Ari's sister later in the year when it's time!”

“went super well! took my kitten (at the time he was about 6 months) to have his first checkup, vaccines, get neutered, etc. We originally went to a different clinic (not a PPH clinic) that charged us close to 200 for neuter, check up, vaccines, once for each of our older two boys, so almost 400 in total. Here they halved the price we would've paid over there - from 200 to a little over 100! And they did all the same things as well, plus thoroughly explained after care, gave medicine my little guy needed after, offered pine litter and an E collar. I'm planning on returning for my two older that are due for their vaccines again soon. Really encourage coming here to get affordable and great care for your pets.”

“Stunning vets. Called at 7:30am for a kitten with a bad eye infection I found on a Sunday night. They coached me in the medication, assisted any time I called, were prompt in returning info, AND took on our crazy husky for boarding and for his shots to get him ready for boarding so we could go to our wedding.The day of the appointments, they called to let me know the Doctor was performing an emergency C-section, they didn't move a single appointment, and they still saw my animals.If you are nervous about the best vet to take your fur children, this is the absolute right choice.
