Truly couldn’t say enough good things about this place. Dr. Matt and Dr. Paola Steyling are both SO excellent and have been wonderful with my cats over the years. They truly care. The staff there is wonderful also from the ladies up front to the techs in the back. So grateful for all of you, thank you for taking care of my babies and always being so kind.

Both Dr. Paola Steyling & Dr. Matt Steyling are fantastic veterinarians. I have been taking my dog to them for regular care for four years because they are compassionate and knowledgeable, but I’ve decided to leave a review here today because they saved my dog’s life two weeks ago. Dr. Matt Steyling performed emergency surgery to remove a blockage in my dog’s stomach & large intestine.
They consistently check in on her progress every few days to be sure she is healing appropriately. My dog is a difficult vet patient, but they handle her with care & ease. I could not be happier with my experience at Spalding Animal Hospital. I drive 30 minutes out of the way, fighting Atlanta traffic, to see them. The front desk and vet support staff are also very professional and kind.
From a cost perspective, they are worth the drive for me as well. The vets near my house in the perimeter can be 2-4x more expensive.

We love the care here from the beginning to the final grieving room. This is a practice that supports all aspects of pet / family member care.

We've lived in Dunwoody for 45 years and have developed relationships with veterinarians the entire time by virtue of our extended family: 3 dogs, 2 birds, a cat, a pig and 14 gerbils. We have never experienced the loving care we found at Spalding Animal Hospital during our recent weeks-long treatment of our Border Collie for bone cancer. Their tremendous combination of skill and understanding gave us all we could possibly need or want during her final days in the way of comfort and compassion. The beautiful words from each member that came in the card after her passing continues to pull at our heartstrings as we miss her still today. We can't imagine going anywhere else for our pets' care in the future. Thank y'all so much.. J. Clein

My partner and I were very concerned about our pup. He had an emergency and we called his vet which is Spalding Animal Hospital. We told them that he was vomiting and that his stool was bloody and it's coming out as liquid. I assumed they would take him right away because of our situation, but they said they were booked up and that they would have to see him after the holidays. We were under the impression that they took care of dogs who had priority of the matter. Instead we took him to a vet close by. We really liked Spalding even tho it was an additional 10 min drive so we felt skeptical on bringing him elsewhere. After the holidays, we took our pup back to Spalding cause Dr. Paola wanted a follow up from the vet we took him to which was nice of her. Even then, I was expecting more from her. I actually felt a bit rushed from her for this follow up appointment. I understand she has other dogs to care for, but I didn't feel that we were being taken care of compared to the other vet. We visited Spalding 3x. The first time was probably the best experience we had cause we told them it was our first time. The other 2x was just bleh. The staff in the front weren't as friendly and they don't associate w our pup or acknowledge him. It seems just a job for them to do, not something they're passionate about. Whereas when we took him to the other vet, the staff is always friendly and the fact that we took him multiple times now with the new vet, they ALWAYS acknowledge and greet our pup. They even KNOW OUR names and pups name each time we come in so felt it was nice that the other vet was personable. In all, this is a decent vet. I like to have a good experience each time with my veterinarians, so if you're looking for that, Spalding might not be the best for your primary vet.

They were warm, friendly and accommodating. We had to put our dog down after 17.5 yrs. They understudy the severity to my wife and I. Even though they were very busy and squeezed us in, they were very gracious. Awesome very with a great doctor.

They lost my friends dog while he was boarded. How does something like that even happen at a veterinarian??!!! Absolutely horrible and I will NOT be bringing my dog here.

We've received excellent care for our fur babies here. They kept our elderly kitty going for as long as she could. They also helped with our rambunctious kitty whenever he got himself into trouble.
