“Dr. Fish and Dr. Porter have done an excellent job with our two dogs. Goose, our Weimar, needed an appointment as soon as we moved into town. We weren’t sure he would make it through the night. We had a few more visits like that and they were there with us every time. Now we have an almost year old puppy full of excitement! We just had our neuter pre appointment with Dr. Porter. He assured us it was the right time and our pup was in excellent health. Everyone at Oakwood Animal Hospital are professional and friendly!”

“I can honestly say that all the staff here were outstanding and very empathetic and was able to see my puppy during a emergency right before they closed, I called several other vets around the area and this was the only one willing to help because emergency vet in Gainesville doesn't open til 6pm.. “Dr. Laura Townsend is by FAR the very best vet anyone could ever ask for. She has been taking care of my fur babies for over 25 years. My 1st was 16 1/2 yrs. old when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge in Dr. Townsends arms & 2 weeks ago she held my sweet tiny 15 1/2 yr. old as she crossed that Bridge to join her brother! Losing our fur baby that is loved like our child is hard enough as it is. But when you have someone as wonderful as Dr. Townsend taking care of them you know for a FACT that they are well taken care of & given the very best life & care possible. Dr. Townsend gives you the straight forward details about your pet & never any "EXTRA" that you don't need or need to do just to add cost.
