“Due West Pharmacy is a throw back to the old days: a real person on the phone, pharmacist who knows you by your first name, and a shop full of medical devises, vitamins, OTC meds, and old time pharmacy goodies like candy and ice cream. It’s a local business we are proud to support.”

“This is a real pharmacy with great personal services. It's real small but just enough to be a full service health store. The employees treat everyone like neighbors. It's a really good place to get your vaccines.”

“Used to going into this Sam's at least two times a week. Sometimes I have been there more often because I done a lot of shopping for work. They have a good selection of food items, paper goods, cat and dog food, nuts, frozen foods etcetera. Location is great for me and usually the staff is friendly. I have only once gotten not so good customer service. The Pharmacy is a nice addition even I use Kroger Pharmacy closer to home for my prescription medicines. Basically, they have everything one needs. Also they carry, hearing aides, optical items and electronics. When I want to purchase smaller amounts of food Wal-Mart is another option.Best thing is not to go on a Sunday afternoon. It's a madhouse.”

“This place taught me that all pharmacies are not the same. Not even close. There is a much deeper level of service and personality with this business. For example, they are prompt to answer the phone and answer any questions without making you feel rushed or like a nuisance. They are thorough and feel like REAL humans who actually listen and care. Super importantly - they can find online coupons for drugs and apply the discounts correctly. I had to stop using my company's mail in pharmacy service because they can't figure this out no matter what and would charge $300 for something Lacey would charge $50. I read one negative review here about how they were never in Lacey's system and couldn't get an order filled but there's two locations and I'm willing to bet the meds were called in to the other location. By the way I've been to that location several times too and it's equally fabulous.”

“I accidentally deleted my original review. Sorry about that!. I'm a customer at Marietta Specialty Pharmacy, and they go out of their way to help you with whatever you need. Selena, the pharmacist, is very helpful, and also very sweet. I highly recommend that you give them a try. I believe everyone that tries them will be pleased with their quick service, their great attitude, and reasonable prices. I'm sticking with them. My name is Mary Lunsford. ?”

“This is a wonderful Pulix. The Lady who answers the phone is great. Gets you to deli, baker. I decided to give it a break this year. I mean we just had Thanksgiving. I'm so sick of dishes. I ordered a sub wheel from publix. Got some mand and cheeese cranberry dressing and done. I centered on desserts! Got a beautiful red velvet cake, but they wanted to eat the cute little dear cak I got for them to take home. Easiest Christmas ever! Bakery got my cakes right to me as did the deli lady. This is a very well run publix!”

“Simply the best selection of quality foods and household products. Prices are lower at some places, but the services of staff and the quality of goods at other stores is lacking. I admire that Publix hires the differently-abled and includes these workers meaningfully in serving customers.”

“Today, I had emergency surgery to get a tooth extracted. I dropped my prescription off then went home to rest. I popped up once I realized my mouth was beginning to ache. I arrived at the Walmart pharmacy 10 minutes after closing. (Online says 9pm, it’s actually 7pm. I completely understand it takes a while for Google to update.) Sam was still in the pharmacy closing up. I honestly don’t think I could have waited until the morning for my prescription. Sam, selfless Sam, opened the gate for me to get my medicine. I know he probably hated me at that moment, but he remained so polite. I’m so grateful for people like you Sam! You made a huge difference in my day and I thank you so much for that. You’re awesome!”

“Great service and they’re always very attentive. I was actually quite surprised at how good they are compared to most Walmart (main) Superstores. This is much more of a niche business for them. I would definitely recommend trying them out. Prices are great also.”

“Best pharmacy around here, the employees are always so kind and helpful. I have never had a negative experience here and even to for things I could probably pick up elsewhere.”

“I love this pharmacy. I left Publix because the staff are constantly revolving and there is no personal service. Some are really rude. They are under staff and the lines are long. Lots of chaos Mountain view is constant, quiet, personable, they deliver your meds free of charge and lots of parking if you go yourself. Great location and very nice staff.”

“Niayah and Amya were awesome with bringing my groceries out. They even brought it to my attention that I can order my kids school supplies and not have to deal w people in the store!!! These two are a great asset!!”

“What a huge improvement from the previous kroger down the street. The staff are more attentive and friendly. Much bigger and more selections and well organized in comparison to the previous. Good deals and fresh items. In addition there's now a Starbucks inside. Way better than publix”

“I use to be a patient at The Family Health Center and when I came back last week it was as if i never left. The place looked the same exceptionally clean as always the staff very very friendly and the welcoming feeling they gave me was over and above the call of duty. I saw my favorite Dr she was very friendly as usual and thorough she gave me a complete physical, after that we agreed to go over my test results by phone. My prescription was right on time with no waiting and I am very pleased, I'm looking forward to speaking with her soon and hopefully getting good news LOLYOU GO DR M DRIESE!!”

“This Kroger store is one of best in the Atlanta area, a very large well-managed store, staffed with customer-service oriented employees. The gasoline service area is also large, no waiting like at other Kroger stores. The store is very clean and well-stocked. In general, employees are friendly and always willing to assist customers. In particular, Donnie at the store front end and Tenay in produce are two of the hardest working Kroger employees I have ever run across at Kroger stores. Both these ladies deserve the highest possible recognition for their superb customer service skills. The few times that I have found it necessary to speak with a manager, I have found them to be responsive and to project good attitudes toward customer concerns. This is a very well managed and staffed Kroger store, and it shows everywhere. The parking lot is clean, as well as the main entrance to the store. There are always plenty of clean shopping buggies on hand, and employees can be observed going around the lot collecting returned buggies and keeping the parking lot clean. The large size of the store allows for stocking a large variety of products, something customers always appreciate. This Kroger store is highly preferable to the nearby Publix, and it would seem customers agree, since there are always three times as many cars parked at this Kroger, versus the Publix across the street. Oh, and a bonus for me, there is a beauty supply store in the same shopping center that stocks every conceivable beauty item and has a huge selection of wigs. I am so vain, when it comes to girly stuff, so having the beauty store nearby is a plus for me.”

“As a vegan, I have a tough time ordering food at sub places. Publix offers a couple vegan subs, but not all locations or employees are willing to make it. Well, today that was not the case. Starr and Cendy went above and beyond to make me a vegan sub and make doubly sure I had the right vegan ingredients. They were SO busy with a line of customers during the lunch rush, and they still made me feel like I was the most important customer in the store. I highly recommend this Publix Deli especially if either Starr or Cendy are working. They were so attentive and apologetic to all the customers during such a big lunch rush. These two definitely deserve a raise. The sandwich that Starr made me was DELICIOUS: white bread, vegan ranch, vegan meat (don't remember which brand), morning star bacon, violife vegan cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, jalapeños, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar. 10/10.”

“Sam's is much easier to shop at than Costco. Their "scan and go" on the app is awesome. Just scan your items as you put them in the cart. No more standing in lines to cash out. Just scan, swipe and go to the exit. They'll scan the code on your phone along either 3 or 4 items and you'll be on your way. I've been using it for 6 months and I love it. It can also be used at the gas pumps. Costco is such a drag. The parking lot is like a game of "Frogger". You need to show a card either way your picture on it. You get ambushed by sales reps. The lines are ridiculously long. Sam's is just a better place now.”

“Professional, Great Communication and Courteous. This phamacy is the best. They keep you informed about your prescriptions and I always recieve the most corteous service from Austin.”

“I usually don’t give reviews but they deserve a Publix/CFA type gold star! I received the best service. They came over and took over my scanning for me, (had a huge order of sodas) then they held it while I pulled up my car to the door. Not only did they do that though-after I refused their help to take it out and dropped an entire case of sodas, they came out and cleaned up my mess! They replaced the case free of charge and they loaded my car!! What an excellent team of people. They deserve a raise and a great deal of appreciation!”

“Medex has been absolutely amazing to me. They went out of their way to make sure I got my migraine medication that my insurance company would not approve. They also contacted my doctors office and worked with them and my insurance company to get the insurance to cover this medication. They fill and deliver my prescription so fast! I’m definitely having my doctor send all my other prescriptions over to them after this great experience!!!”

“Interior / ExteriorLike most Publix stores - this store serves as the anchor store for the plaza. Fun fact - if you see a Publix store in a Plaza, 99% of the time Publix actually owns the plaza and the other businesses just lease space in the plaza. Parking is 'ok' but it can be a struggle between peak hours (noon - 1:30pm and 5 - 6:30pm). Customer ServiceEveryone knows - this is where Publix shines! Even when I was younger and rarely ventured into Publix, I was always taken aback when I asked a store associate where I could find an item and they insisted on escorting me over to the actual product instead of just saying, 'aisle 7.' On the one hand, I felt like they were treating me like a I was a doddering little old lady that couldn't be trusted to find it on my own and I felt guilty for taking them away from their tasks. But on the other hand, I was super impressed. Now - I'm just happy that they're saving me time from having to wander down the aisle looking for the product because I'm pretty much always in a rush thanks to my 1,000 jobs and family commitments. Value / PriceOne of the reasons I put off shopping at Publix for the longest time is because I always heard they were pricey. I have to say, compared to Walmart and Kroger, they are pricier - but if you stick to the sales flyer (which I do) / wait until your favorites go on sale to stock up and stick to purchasing produce and dairy versus a bunch of pre-packaged convenience foods, your wallet will be ok. ;-) Other / OverallEveryone raves about the subs and the fried chicken. I've never had the fried chicken but I can tell you the chicken tender sub and the Boar's Head Ultimate sub are my favorite subs. Full stop. That's including dedicated sandwich shops. If you're in the mood for something healthy and don't feel like cooking, they will still bake salmon, steam crab legs, etc with old bay, lemon pepper or other seasonings - but the deli now has baked chicken tenders as well! The reason I decided to write an update is because last weekend I was running all over the place trying to find a Kroger that a) still had someone working in the meat dept licensed and trained to operate a bone saw and / or b) actually still had a bone saw - and lo & behold - Publix had a bone saw, along with a meat finisher that was licensed and trained to cut meat with a bone it. And icing on the cake - the cut was on sale! And unlike Kroger, they were willing to take my order of the phone and let me come pick my order up at my convenience. They really saved the day!Great job Publix!PS - Lest I sound like a 'paid shill' or fake reviewer ... under the 'nobody's perfect' category ... Let me just say, I don't love the fact that after having the Glacier / Primo machine out-of-order for months (and I finally contacted Primo and they claimed to have no knowledge of any issues and 3 days later the machine was magically fixed) - they moved machine to the pharmacy. Some locations stick the machine in the 'foyer' near the carts. Some put it outside. Some put in near the restrooms. I get it - there is no 'great' place for it. But for a germaphobes or people with weak immune systems - I'm sure being stuck, waiting for your bottles to fill, so close to the pharmacy can be a little anxiety inducing. The last time I was there - I was re-filling one '5-gallon' jug and six '1-gallon' jugs. There was a Mom with 3 little kids - all insanely adorable and filled with energy. But that's not all they were full of. Their noses and chests were also full of snot & mucus. They kept running over to, talking and asking me questions about my purse and my toes, telling me various things about themselves - and even tugging my dress to get my attention if I didn't respond quickly enough because I was shuffling bottles in and out of the cart. I sent a little prayer up to the heavens that the runny noses were allergies and not colds. Lol.”
