Visiting from out of town and spent the afternoon in Madison going to shops. We stopped here for lunch. Very good, fresh sandwiches. Easy ordering. Busy lunch atmosphere but food came quickly. Highly recommend!

I ate lunch with a couple coworkers here yesterday and we enjoyed it. Madison seems like it's being slowly taken over by overpriced, "hip" places to eat. This spot fortunately has not been apart of that :) Our food was good and the prices are reasonable! One thing I will say is that I had the smoked turkey jack and while I did like it, I think the ciabatta bread they are using for it gets too hard and tough in panini form. I'd switch to a softer bread- maybe just offer it on a sourdough. The bread was so hard, after being grilled or toasted I assume since it's a panini, that it was hurting my mouth some to chew it. That's my only complaint. I liked the vibes in here and my sandwich tasted great other than that.

Quaint luncheoenette in a quaint town. It is located on the corner in the downtown historic district of Madison. Choose from outdoor seating with umbrellas along the sidewalk, or indoor seating at tables or at the lunch counter. Lots of standard lunch sandwiches. I opted for a turkey reuben ($8.99) which is served with a pickle spear. Large portion and very tasty. I opted for a side of potato salad ($1.49) which made a nice accompaniment for a warm sandwich. Food is good. The front of the store offers produce for sale. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The cafe is charming and clean. Many customers seem to be regulars and know each other. The Madison Produce Company is an embodiment of small town charm. Highly recommend!

Great lunch stop found unexpectedly as we took the back road from FL to NC! Madison is such a beautiful town and the Madison Produce Company provided small town charm and good eats. The service is counter style with seating offered at the bar, inside tables or outside tables. The wedge salad was just perfect!

Great freshly homemade BLT sandwich with tostad sourdough bread! The toasting of the Bread gave it that extra crunch!! Super Good! Great place for a quick casual lunch at an old time bar counter & service? I'll make more visits to this location!

Two thoughts. First, if someone dislikes the prices, realize that this cafe has to deal with rising prices like we ALL do. Second, if someone goes there and does not get their BLT, they are missing perhaps the best ever. This is not fast food, it is MADE TO ORDER, and fresh, fresh, fresh. I ordered and paid for a plain bottle of water. Saw they had Perrier. I took one. When the lady came, told her it was different from what I thought I ordered. She smiled and said they were the same price. I did not believe her, thought she was just being diplomatic, so I put a LARGE tip in the tip jar. Go, sit, enjoy a fast disappearing part of Americana.Jerrry Brittain

Just stopped in for some coffee and it was a very pleasant experience! My server was awesome and very accommodating... The latte I ordered was very good! Atmosphere was very inviting and they sold lots of local fresh fruits and Georgia grown items! The restaurant on the corner is sure to attract lots of visitors to Madison no doubt and the prices there are worth visiting even just for the briefest of months. If you ever visit, it's definitely a good place to take a break and enjoy the scenery and locale.

The food was reasonably priced, delicious and served promptly. The Reuben, clam chowder and chili were tasty. The table next to us had a salad that looked amazing.

Very popular & crowded on a Saturday at lunch. We had to sit at the bar. We now understand why it is so popular. Great lunch! Just try & avoid peak dining times.

The ambiance was nice, but I spent $14.00 on the most bland, chicken salad sandwich I've ever had, along with some sweet tea and a bag of chips. I should have went to Subway.

The Burnin Sherman is an absolute must have! So good and cannot wait to go back and have another. Also really enjoyed the Prancers Punch! Prices are fantastic as well. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is the bartender. Would’ve been nice for some small talk or more attention, we probably would’ve ordered another round if she was less occupied with her friend.

We stopped by for a Saturday lunch and my wife and I enjoyed The Italian sandwich and a Greek salad. Absolutely delicious, generous portions and gracious service. I only wish we lived nearby so we could come by more often.

Oh, My, Madison. We were on the way to Atlanta but wouldn't reach a decent restaurant for close to an hour so we ended up in Madison. It was a short drive off the interstate but what a scenic drive. The houses looked like we were back in the late 1800's and then popped up the town square. A nice mix between modern and traditional. The restaurant was hard to find because there was no screaming neon sign but didn't take long. We walked in and every seat was taken...usually a good sign. The young lady took our order and was a nice as she could be; the whole staff was very much the same. I ordered the Italian hoagie and strayed outside my comfort zone by adding the sweet Vidalia onions and they were tremendous. We sat outside during some type of festival and people watched but only for a short time because the food was delivered fast than most fast food chain restaurants. The hoagie was unbelievably good and the amount of food was a pleasant surprise. With cost of food rising (it was on the pricey side), I fully expected an appetizer portion but this s***** was a full meal. We'll be adding this on the list of places to stop going forward. The town reminded me off Mayberry but the food rivaled any big town eatery. Well done Madison.

This place was recommended online so we stopped for lunch. I'm so glad we did. I had a chicken salad sandwich and it was great! But the white bean chili my husband ordered was the best we ever tasted! I wanted to ask for that recipe! All the food is made with care and it shows! Great place to eat!
