The little woman and I are going to Scotland and we expect to be walking about a lot. We thought, "maybe we should invest in some good walking shoes." Talking with nurses and photographers, I was informed that the best shoes for all day walking are "expensive athletic shoes" - aka sneakers. A friend of mine has a daughter who is a runner and she told me about Fleet Feet. So, we went to Downtown Lawrenceville (DTL) and popped in to see what was what.
We were warmly greeted by Stephanie who asked us some questions and then set about evaluating our feet and gait. It's all very high tech and in no time we were flipping through the results on a tablet seeing our exact measurements and shape and pressure points. Stephanie then brought us an assortment of sneakers in the right size (I didn't know my true size!) and also some orthopedic inserts. We narrowed down the options until we found ourselves wearing the most comfortable and supportive shoes I could have ever imagined.
I whispered to my wife, "There's no way we can afford these." But I was wrong. Two pairs of shoes, two inserts, and six pairs of socks and we were well within our budget. They weren't cheap, but I've paid more for dress shoes.
Stephanie was so helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. If you go there, ask for her. Tell her Brandon and Alisha sent you. She probably won't remember us, but it'll sound cool.
We are so excited for our trip and I'll post an update to let you know how well the shoes do.
I bought Brooks Glycerin 21 and she got Karhu Fusion 4.0.

I walked in and Stephanie immediately greeted me. She mapped my feet and she was extremely knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect pair of shoes with proper support and comfort for running and long walks. I left out feeling excited that I learned more about my feet! but also I left feeling very taken care of and I don’t know the last time I left an establishment feeling that way! Stephanie is really good at her job! It was honestly the best part of my day! Money well spent! I definitely recommend fleet feet 10/10!

Thanks to Stephanie at Fleet feet in Lawrenceville for saving my feet. Having my feet mapped for the proper shoes was an amazing experience, and Stephanie knew exactly what shoes would work best for me. Her excellent customer service and attention to detail has helped to tremendously, reduce the pain in my feet and ankles. Now my entire family has come for the same experience and the best pair of shoes and inserts ever. I recommend Stephanie and the amazing staff at Fleet Feet Lawrenceville highly.

Stephanie helped me pick out two great pair of shoes for walking and the gym! Absolutely in love with my new shoes. She was incredibly patient and all of the staff is so sweet! One of the staff members even held my baby while I tried shoes on since I forgot my stroller. The shoes were worth every penny! My feet already feel so much better

WOW! Impressive customer support! My first visit was in March and the level of detail of finding a shoe that fit properly was outstanding. After purchasing the shoes and trying them out, I discovered I needed something different. I went back and explained my situation and they were AWESOME!! They exchanged my shoes for a pair that better fit my needs. Thank you for making me feel comfortable with my exchange. I highly recommend this place!

My doctor recommended I come here to find a pair of sneakers to help my current foot issue. Stephanie was beyond amazing, helpful and knowledgeable. She listened to my concerns, and solved them almost immediately. I would reccomend this place to anyone looking to purchase a pair of sneakers, etc.. And to the owners and managers, please give special recognition to Stephanie, shes a rare gem in the retail world, and is the reason I will be back to get additional pairs at this location.

I had a great experience getting my feet assessed and bought insoles for my shoes. The young lady that helped me was very informative. I will be purchasing walking/running shoes this week. I went to the podiatrist today and have get some good athletic shoes. At first I was like dang to my pocket but hey I got to take care of my feet.

I received fantastic customer service from Ms. Lynn. I did the shoe fitting process, which was a fantastic experience, and I learned so much about my feet. My favorite part was being able to try on the different pairs of running shoes that were picked for me a test run around the store. The overall experience was terrific.I look forward to falling in love with running and returning for another pair in the future.
