Honest. Trustworthy. I wholeheartedly recommend. I discovered Blackmon Automotive about 2 yrs ago when they were recommended by a co-worker. Blackmon Automotive has always provided superb service. They are detailed with their explanations of what's wrong with the car and also offer clear, detailed solutions to my car service needs. In the past when I've shopped around for quotes for repair, they're the best price. Unlike other repair shops, I don't feel like they're trying to upsell me on secondary repairs that aren't necessary at that moment. Finally, Erica is so friendly and a joy to communicate with on the phone and in person. I'll keep coming back to Blackmon for my repairs and routine service.

Edit: Given the four year delay in response to the review, any and everyone should be skeptical of this place.
Not a place I'd recommend. Took my wife's car in for an alternator issue; $1500 and unathorized repairs later, we got it back...only to then pay a more reputable company substantially less to ACTUALLY fix the vehicle.

I love these people! I have used them for about 25 years for all my vehicle needs and they have never failed me. I take all my cars to Blackmon Automotive. Their mechanic Robbie is the only tech I trust to work on my cars from the littlest stuff like an oil change all the way up to the most complex of stuff. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would, y’all are awesome

Was in town briefly for the first time in 20+ years. We had some car trouble so I looked up to see if Blackmon’s was still around and they were. We needed to be on the road home that afternoon. They got us going as well as recommending a place we could eat within walking distance while we waited. They were fantastic. While the Kennesaw I grew up in has changed tremendously, it was comforting to find Blackmon still there and as great now as when we lived there. Keep up the great work!!!

I came to Blackmon with a terrible lifter ticking on a jeep that only had 109k miles. They replaced all lifters and installed rear brakes and rotors in 2 days. The jeep purrs like a kitten now. They were friendly, responsive, honest and affordable. I will definitely use them in the future and refer them to friends and family.Service: Engine repair

I dropped my car off for an estimate because it was overheating. They said it needed a new radiator, gaskets, hoses and thermostat. Told me it would be $1000.00 to fix. I've always taken great care of my car, so I was shocked and didn't believe it needed all that work done. I told him not to work on it, I'll come back and get it. Took it to another shop and they fixed it for $125 and said there was nothing wrong with the radiator or hoses. They fixed the gasket and thermostat. I'll never take my car to someone who wasn't highly recommended. My car runs better than ever now.
