If I could give 0 stars I would. I brought my 4 year old cat Marvel in as he wasn't eating. And they decided not to treat him other then a nausea injection and some fluids and sent him home stating he was too aggressive. I brought him back that following Wednesday as he was still not eating and I brought my friend who used to be a tech there to ask questions that I wouldn't have thought of. Guess they didn't like that as I got reprimanded on the phone by Dr. McKnight. Then when I went to pick him up she demanded I apologize. Ended up taking him to another hospital where they actually care and they found a foreign body. But the infection was too bad and now..Well now my young, sweet boy is dead and I blame Hoschton. I know someone is going to come on here and comment and try damage control but just know I will tell everyone who will listen not to come here. Maybe if I hadn't my baby would still be alive.

Been our vet for the past 3 years. Very nice technicians and vets. The issue I have is the change in staff. As soon as you get used to one they change. Its unfortunate. Wait is not bad but pricy are on the higher side.

Was able to be seen same day which was great. Treatment recommendation changed during my visit, so hopefully they chose the one that my cat needs to heal. Follow up in 2 weeks.

We recently got a new 8 week old puppy (Dixie) and after searching for great Vets that were nearby we decided on Hoschton Animal Hospital. Well, I am so glad we did!! Marie and Amy in the front office were so helpful and personable! Dr. Knight was super knowledgeable and answered all of my questions! I seriously want to be real life friends with all of them! Can't wait to take Dixie to them in a few weeks for another checkup!

We love Dr. Frangiosa! She is new to the practice, and we are beyond grateful she is now a part of the team! We have 2 snakes, and she is a reptile/exotic master! We had an urgent need to get in yesterday because our baby was crushed in her enclosure. The front desk staff was amazing! They got us in immediately. We were at the office 15 minutes after calling to get in for x-rays and check. Dr. Frangiosa took the BEST care of our baby hognose and we left with a great report and a happy hog! Thank you, guys, so much!

Such caring staff and doctors. Very friendly and fun interior if you bring your kids with you. Plenty of parking and again, super nice, caring staff. I couldn't recommend them more. They are also able to treat exotics - reptiles and such which is a big plus, and they are really close to the vet school at University of Georgia in Athens.

I have made two attempts to use the services of Hoschton Animal Hospital. To be completely forthright both calls were placed on the weekend, as both situations where emergency calls. In the first instance, I received a response by midday Monday, which by then, I'd found other treatment. This latest, and the last time I will ever call this, establishment was this past weekend. My pet, a bearded dragon had suffered heat stroke. To their credit, we did reach the exotic pet veterinarian. We explained the situation and responded to his questions. He determined from this that our pet was sufficiently well to await treatment and he informed us that they opened up Monday at 8:30. I must say our research found that every post of this situation on the internet states to get IMMEDIATE emergency help, as the preponderance of this condition results in the death of the animal. Sadly our pet died as well. Clearly drawing into question the competence and compassion of the exotic pet services provided by the facility. Regarding the subsequent performance of the "Hospital", we did not receive any follow up call from the veterinarian we spoke with, nor from the facility. We will certainly never call on them again, and I leave it to you, the reader, to draw your own conclusions. But I would ask, if your pet has an emergency, wouldn't you want to have near real time access to professional and compassionate care?

Truly love Dr. Chapman and his staff! My fur baby chiweenie, Rocko, got very sick and was worried he was not going to make it. Took him to Hoschton Animal Hospital and they took real good care of him. Dr. Chapman was very thorough and in conclusion Rocko had to have exploratory surgery. Dr. Chapman found during surgery that Rocko had swallowed a whole acorn and a piece of what looked like a knot out of a piece of wood! How my chiweenie got those down whole is still a mystery. That being said, he is back and am so very happy I have the Hoschton Animal hospital as a part of our family now. Very grateful for Dr. Chapman and his entire staff(Daniel, Ashton, Amy, Abbey, etc...) Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

I have taken my pets to this clinic for over 10 years now and I would highly recommend them!! They have the absolute BEST customer service and they always take FABULOUS care of my animals. They even provided me support and comfort after the loss of two of my older cats. Every single time I call or visit, they make me feel like my cat is the most important pet they see. I would not hesitate to take each and every animal that I will ever own to them and would highly recommend their services to everyone!
