Dr Rachel and Jessica Tolliver saved my baby girl, Snitch! She decided to eat a blankie and had to have surgery to remove! Dr Tollivers took their lunch break to do the surgery! They called repeatedly throughout the week to check on Snitch and offer any guidance and reassurance i needed! A++++ service and AFFORDABILITY!! ?

This is my first time here and I am very thankful they were able to get my French Bulldog in as quickly as they did as my vet did not have an appointment available. My Juli had a situation over the weekend that I knew needed medical attention but was not severe enough to go to an emergency vet. The staff, vet techs and Dr. Jessica Tolliver were all wonderful this morning listening to what had occurred over the weekend. I do apologize to them for my Juli being so "talkative" this morning, but also thank you for being kind to my Coco who came along for moral support of her sister. Thank you all for putting this fur baby moma at ease and helping my sweet girl. I highly recommend this clinic. Just a few candid photos of my girls this morning. They love waiting to see who is coming in to see them and Juli loves eaves dropping to see if she can hear what they are saying about her and if she has any "bugs". Thanks again!!!

I wouldn’t take an animal here if they’re life depended on it ,every single soul that works there has no professionalism including the doctors I’d recommend this place if you want to be treated terrible and deal with rude people. They all don’t seem to know what is going ,on new people every time I go , they’re systems arent up to date they have all the wrong information for my pet as if they pulled it out they’re azz they cant ever find out what they last did to my pet and I’m over it

Doctor Toliver saved my dogs life. My dog was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer. Doctor Toliver performed a spleen removal on our 12 year old dog Cocoa and referred us to the UGA vet hospital for further study. UGA told us that Cocoa was the first case they had ever seen with this type of cancer, but estimated that he only had about 3 months left to live. We opted to say no to chemo, and continued to follow Doctor Tolivers orders. Now, almost a year later, Cocoa is thriving and doing better than ever! He started eating again, gained his plump figure back, and is acting like a puppy again! With every concern we have, Doctor Toliver not only addresses it, but he really goes out of his way to treat us like family. His entire staff are amazing, attentive to detail, caring, and compassionate. Doctor Toliver and his team saved our precious Cocoa, and we will forever be grateful that we get to enjoy our furry friend as each day comes.

Hot and cold. We’ve been coming here for years. Our last annual visit was strange however. Dr John Tolliver has seen our big boy 3x with no problems at all but he seemed scared of him, saying he didn’t trust him this time. Had 4 assistants with him. One lady even tried dragging him by the leash across the floor, then he suggested putting a 100lb dog on the high metal table which wasn’t feasible. He just didn’t seem himself.

Dr John Tolliver is an awesome person. He is knowledgeable. Caring. Loves the animals. I just had Annie my 18 year shepherd put down. Annie could not walk. Her hips had given out. I carried Annie in and out of the house to potty for over a week. She was in pain. Her quality of life was gone. Dr Tolliver not only cared of Annie’s well being. He cared of mine also. Dr Tolliver was a God-send for me. He’s been that way for over 30 years that I’ve known him. This is an awesome animal hospital.

If you need a vet this is the place! I've been to 3 other vets in the area over the past 15 years and Dr. Tolliver and his team are the most caring and compassionate. Even the reception area staff are courteous and patient! No hidden fees, no pushing to get additional services/treatment that aren't required. The price they quote is the price you pay once everything is said and done. Our fur baby suddenly became ill, so I googled vets in the area and called GVH. They were able to get him in on the same day and prescribed hairball meds. The following day he coughed up a 5" long, dense hairball. We thought he would be fine after that, but he continued to decline. His vomiting increased, he became weaker and refused to eat or drink. They took him in immediately, advised x-rays and after discussing options, I agreed to surgery. Dr. Tolliver and his team saved our kitty's life! They removed several pieces of a rubber bracelet that had obstructed his GI tract. After the surgery, they called and kept me up to date on his progress and the techs (during both visits) took the time to explain discharge procedures and delivery of his medication and side effects. They handled my kitty gently and with love. Excellent service and reasonably priced! Other vets charged a lot more for other cats I've had in the past for less invasive treatment. The GVH team is knowledgable and they genuinely care for your fur babies. You can tell they have a passion for what they do. I am extremely satisfied with the service I received as an owner, and the care my cat received as their patient.

Front desk has always been very rude and dismissive. When faced with an emergency and in need of an animal hospital for our sweet dog, we were told that we would have to wait because the doctor would be going to lunch soon. We understand that it's important for staff to take breaks and all of that, but when you're freaking out because your dog is bleeding out and acting lethargic, being told to wait on the doctor to go and come back from lunch isn't what you need or want to hear. Luckily, we found a vet that was willing to delay her lunch for our dog, whose condition ended up being worse than we thought. Because of our NEW vet, our dog is alive and healing. Though this is the most severe and final incident, it wasn't the only incident of the front desk being unhelpful, to say the least. It's a shame. My husband's family has been coming here for years, but no longer.

My cat was so sick I called my regular vet they wouldn't take care of her. I called Grayson vet. They took her in immediately unfortunately she passed. They are great surpassed any other vet I have ever been to
Thank you again for your compassion and care.

Very nice and caring people here. We urgently needed our dog to be cared for for a few days; all of this was new to us, but from the booking to the pick-up process, it was great. A special thank you to Dr. John Tolliver for honoring an additional request I had that the staff stated was not what they do but surprised me by honoring my request. I recommend this Veterinary Hospital. Love from Rex and family.

We had to put our 16 year old mutt down today. They made this easier than I could have imagined or have wanted. They were kind, compassionate, caring and human. I was able to hold him the whole time in my lap. They got on the floor with me to take care of him. He was too big for me to sit in a chair with him. They gave him a couple snacks and even did footprints for me. Again if it is time and you don’t want to but you know you have too. I would use this vet.
Thank y’all so much
