I needed 2 tons of rock to help waterproof my basement. I had labor ready, the weather was good, but Haynes really messed me up. After dumping, the price was TWICE what was quoted. I called and they adjusted it to my original price; "our mistake" they said. Then I read the invoice and noticed that only 1.27 tons was delivered. THEY WEREN'T GOING TO TELL ME. They blamed it on the quarry though they never bothered to let me know that the delivery would be short. I called again and they adjusted the price downward by $19. Now furious, I asked how I was supposed to get the job done with close to half of the rock not being delivered. A $19 reduction was ridiculous. I asked if they would deliver the other 3/4 ton for $19 and they said "no way" of course. Zero empathy despite putting me in a terrible situation; all they had to do was let me know that the delivery was short, but they didn't bother. If you like doing business with pompous employees, attempted over-charging, short/overpriced deliveries, and no sense of what it means to provide even a small amount of customer service...these are your guys. I wish I had called another company, and there are many. Lesson learned, I'll scrape Haynes Trucking off the bottom of my boot and move on...

Excellent service, purchased 2 loads of 4's (rock) from them for a parking lot, they spread it and helped us pack it down using the dump truck. Great service, easy to work with!
