“I visited the Carterville post office to obtain passports for my children and myself. As soon as we entered, the customer service was exceptional. Miss Patricia, who assisted us, was especially helpful, going the extra mile when I encountered a minor problem with my passport application. The entire staff was amiable and hospitable. Although I don't reside in Carterville, it's an excellent choice for postal services and passport processing. My thanks to Miss Patricia and all the staff present on January 19, 2024, around 11 AM.”

“My wedding invites have wax seals on the back, which meant the postage had to be hand cancelled (rather than run through the machine). I know this, because I do my research, but I digress.I originally took my invites to the post office in Kennesaw on Barrett Pkwy, where the lady at the front said she couldn't hand cancel them (I had 16 envelopes, so hardly a big deal). I could tell she was just being lazy, so I took them to the Acworth Post Office instead. I've always had a pleasant experience there.I don't have the lady's name, but she has short red hair and glasses. She was extremely kind and helpful, got me the exact postage for every envelope, and hand cancelled each for me. I don't normally take the time to review post offices, but I truly appreciate her willingness to help me, as wedding planning is stressful enough.If you want actual customer service at the post office, I highly recommend the one in Acworth on Main Street.”

“I love the Emerson USPS. The staff is so friendly, kind, helpful, and compassionate. They offered the best prices on postal boxes in the local area when I checked around many years ago, but I don't know now. If I had anything negative to say about this place, it would be that the prices on postal boxes increase a good amount every year. I don't know if it's just this USPS location that implements increases every year or if it's done at every location. I do hope the rate increases every year stop because I do love this post office ? and don't want to end my service with them over the rates being raised too high. I would give 5 stars if they stopped increasing their rates so much every year.”
