My dog loves BHV, she's obviously loved by the staff, and I love that she never comes home smelling yucky! I also love that she gets to play outside and in a sprinkler pad during warm weather. Grey is an awesome groomer, very patient and thorough. It's a bit challenging to get daycare whenever you need, have to reserve well in advance and you may not be told if they're full or cancelling daycare altogether so have backup plans. BHV, please consider extending the 90 day limit on daycare packages to 180 days!

Our dog loves BHV Decatur. He is so happy when he gets there and happy when he leaves. The staff is so nice and the groomer is amazing. They all love on Bodhi the minute he walks in and they know his name. We get a report card and multiple photos each time. The lobby is clean and it smells good. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Only negative: they are often fully booked for doggie day care.

Our family LOVES Barking Hound Village Decatur. Our dog gets super excited when we say, "Time to go to puppy school." If he could, he would put on his own leash and drive himself over to the facility! We appreciate how much he is cared for and loved by all employees. Thank you so much!

Our dog, Gin, goes to Barking Hound Village Decatur at least 2X per week to give her some time with other dogs and a bit less time alone at home. She absolutely runs in the door. They are warm and friendly with me and with Gin. Gin is deaf, which doesn't slow her down, but it does mean that sometimes she misses sound cues (barks, growls and calls) and the staff keep a sweet eye on her!

I finally found a groomer that can handle Fozzie's nonsense. And he loves her! Shout out to Gray from Barking Hound Village! all the staff were super friendly and they obviously love the pups!

We were visiting from out of town. They arranged the evaluation of my dogs quickly and welcomed them by name every day. We will be back in the area often and this will be our go to for the dogs.

BHV Decatur is great with our anxious pup! The staff usually immediately recognize him when we bring him in and take great care of him! We’ve been coming here since it switched over from hound playground, and have been very happy with them. They even email daily pictures.My only complaint is that the webcams have been down for a while, but we were just notified that they’re working again, so we’re looking forward to being able to check in while we’re away.

We love BHV Decatur! They treat our pup like he's their own. Our dog is so happy when he arrives and exhausted when he leaves. The staff is so friendly and caring. I'm really glad we found this location.

Absolutely love the Decatur Barking Hound location! I've been taking my doodle, Beaux, to Barking Hound since we first moved to Decatur in 2021. We've since moved and this location is much further from us than before - naturally we tried a few locations closer to us but none compare! Barking Hound Decatur is well worth the drive when I need to drop Beaux for daycare, boarding, or grooming. The staff are incredibly friendly, very kind, attentive, and caring. Beaux is excited to go in every time we pull up and I'm at peace because I know he's in good care there. I highly recommend!

I've been a customer of BHV Lofts, but the Decatur location is more convenient now that I've moved. They have been wonderful to my rescue pup Dudley and he doesn't want to leave when I pick him up. They have a fabulous splash pad for the pups to splash and cool off during the summer heat. It is very clean and doesn't have the ammonia smell some places have. Only issue I have is the webcams aren't always online. Not really a big deal, but when Dudley is there, I'd rather watch him all day then do work. So maybe it is a good thing :-)

Our dog, Lulu, has been going to the Barking Hound Decatur location for about 2 years now, and we couldn't be happier! Our dog loves going there for daycare as well as boarding. The people there are ALWAYS so friendly and love on my dog which is great! They send pictures everyday of her when she attends daycare or is boarded which I really enjoy. She is well taken care of while she is there and we will continue being customers there for a long time!
