“Ideal store to buy Indian / Pakistani / Bangladeshi groceries. The restaurants adjacent to them are also great for a quick bite. Fastest cashiers you'll ever see and the most ergonomic baggers (they offer you the option to place your groceries in a box as well).”

“When we lived in GA, many moons ago -- we weren't plant-based then, but did eat healthy and organic when we could, and shopped often at various farmers' markets when they'd pop-up in various towns -- we discovered DeKalb Farmers Market in Decatur. We loved it, and went often. (There was no Yelp! back then.) Anyway, I've always considered it as one of the great international markets I've been to around the world (from Barcelona to Melbourne, to Vietnam; even to San Francisco and Los Angeles). Well, over a dozen years later, we returned: It was like we'd been there last week!!! :D The place hasn't changed! Massive and loaded with all sorts of meats, seafood, vegetables, breads, cheeses, milk, and everything else that this international market was and is all about! The only major change is that the old food court apparently didn't make it through the COVID pandemic; it was simply an empty kitchen space. :( (And we were SOOOOO hungry!!!) :P That said, the entire place is a cornucopia of food delights!!! Despite the demise of the food court, Your DeKalb Farmers Market is still the best in GA, hands-down...!!! :D”

“I’m just glad they employ cashiers (for now). I will continue to support grocery stores that value the customer experience. I could go on and on about how Kroger has screwed things up with their self checkout and useless employees, but suffice to say I enjoy this Publix better.”

“The best! One of my favorite parts of living in Oakhurst. The Asian tofu and fried rice are an affordable alternative to take out. So impressed by the growing take home options. Keep up the great work!”

“Love this location, usually pretty stocked up. The night shift manager Ashley is pretty helpful. She knows the store and has good product knowledge. Mostly everyone has good customer service”

“Oakhurst market catered our wedding day, and it was delicious! Paula worked with us for months to make sure everything was exactly how we envisioned. She answered my many questions, and made sure everything was perfect. They are one of the Dekalb History Center's preferred caterers, and it is clear why. They set up all the chairs, tables, glasses, and did the room flip for the reception seamlessly. They even folded the napkins beautifully. Everything was on time and done with excellence. We did the Mexican buffet, and had the food set up in separate room, and it was fantastic! Highly recommend Oakhurst market for your catering.”

“This is a real gem located in North Decatur and the toco hills area. A much more elaborate and elegant deli counter and butcher shop than one might expect. Really superior meats although you're going to pay a premium for it. Friendly service and terrific grill for breakfast or lunch.”

“Not happy with cashier added something on to my grocery told her it wasn't mine she said she took it off but she didn't. So please pay attention to your receipt.”

“Ventured into this grocery store for the first time while running errands with my bestie. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a friendly WF associate who wished us a Merry Christmas with so much glee. Such a great way to kick off our visit! I'd never been to a Wayfield Foods store before today, but good that we checked it out. The store was incredibly clean, spacious and bright. The shelves were stocked with everyday items that we expect in grocery stores, and more specialty items like their international offerings and alcoholic mixers area. We went there in search of wings and I was blown away by the deals! $10 and under for over 1.5lbs of wings? Yes please! I'll be back.”

“Don't sleep on this little convenience store!Located just down the steps from the main area of Decatur Square, this store is just a hop and a skip from one of my fave woman-owned gyms, Clarity Decatur. When I've been at Clarity, I always find myself needing a quick little something and always check into Square to see if they have what I'm needing. Before one event at Clarity, I found that I didn't have batteries for our LED sign. I couldn't image getting in my car and going to a local store for them and didn't know if Square would have any but, why the heck not. I was so hype when I went in and was told that they had batteries - YES! Because what the heck is a Yelp event without those LED letters? LOL. I also love to get some extra energy prior to events with a Celsius and a snack, and they're always stocked up, clean and super welcoming. Little in size, massive on the convenience level!”

When we check out, the cashiers are engaging and friendly, always asking genuinely if we found everything okay. It's a treat we look forward to on our appointment days!”

“Aldi is one of the best kept secrets. The prices and quality are awesome. $100 spent at Aldi is the equivalent of $250 spent at Publix without all the chemicals and red dye.”

“Well ALDI is a great store. The only thing is one cashier I can see u with two but one incredible. Now Certain things u can tell the difference in prices in drinks and meats As well as soda. And if u only have one cashier where or the sell associate on the floor”

“I stopped by Cakes By Keon for some slices of cake, I highly recommend the strawberry crunch cake. An employee at the counter told me they owned the restaurant next door and the food was really good. I was hungry, so I went over. The menu was limited, so I decided on a whitening fish sandwich with fries. After about 10-15 minutes, my food was ready. I wasn't expecting a piece of fish and 2 slices of bread, but then again, it was only $10.99. The fries were overdone, and I barely ate them. I also purchased a lemonade to drink. I really wish it was fresh squeezed since it tasted like Kool-aid lemonade. Overall, I'm glad I supported two black businesses. Definitely stop by if in the area.”

“Been in customer service 40 yrs. This is a place to go to. "I don't say this lightly" . As well they're very warm, friendly, professional and their prices are great. They also went out of their way to help me.”

“Well organized, clean, really nice convenience spot. I was pleasantly surprised with the array of candy they had! Freeze dried candy. Novelty candy with toys. Really diverse selection and plenty of things you’d be hard pressed to find outside of an actual candy store.”

“Visited Georgia during a hurricane season staff was knowledgeable and store was stocked given the kind of environmental threat. They had everything from fuel to non parishables.”

“One of the more chique Aldi's that you will find. Some more specialty items that you may not find in their counterparts. Very spacious. Still very competitive prices, especially if you are lucky enough to catch the mark downs.”

“E.K. Helped my wife get an item she really wanted that had fallen into the crevices of the freezer! There was only one left so there was no other way, but he found a way. Thank you, E.K.!”

“Most important it's clean! It never has that nasty raw meat smell like so many other places. Food prices are good considering inflation everywhere. I filled two deep freezers for $265.00 just the other day. Krogers wanted 27.99 for just a pack of wings. I bought a whole meat package for $30.00. Big difference in quality and quantity for sure.”

“This restaurant is everything I like in a neighborhood restaurant. It’s small, I was delighted they had plastic shields between the tables, and the food is very good. There are about ten tables inside and a few more outside. We had the traditional and barbacoa empanadas and the El Pastor tacos. Each came with a corn salsa salad and black beans and rice. We returned a second night and it was just as good. Our server (the same both nights) was not particularly friendly, but I’m not going to dock them for that. I could see myself eating here once a week if I lived in town.”

“Walking into this store is like a blast from the past hope the store gets modernized soon. The good old days are alive and well here along with a good selection and great prices on some items. My first time here at this location didn't even know they had one there until my son told me it was there. My son called it walking into the past which wasn't a bad description at all thanks for the memories Big Bear Supermarket keep striving for food excellence and low prices ??????‍♀️? ? ?”
