I'm a huge fan of Burlington and even this location. However, the last few times I've gone the shelves weren't stocked well at all. And the store needs to be cleaned better with attention to opened, messy (looks like a kid with nasty hands has touched all over ) packaging.

Very crowded. Not enough stock to choose from! Left feeling down. Many Hispanic people use this store. A kid no more than 4 was pushing his own cart. Not sure what he said to his dad after I smiled at him, but it made me uncomfortable. ???

I am writing this review as a shout-out to an extraordinary employee who works at this store by the name of Shelley. Let me tell you, this is the hardest working woman I have probably ever seen! I went to this store on a very slow, rainy Sunday (like, there were probably more employees than customers lol), but Shelley was literally the only employee who stayed busy throughout the store, and even stopped to ask us how we were doing and if we needed help finding anything. If there is ever an opening for a management position, Shelley should be first in line for consideration!

Attempted to do a return with original receipt for a comforter that has a manufacturer defect. Was refused. Melissa was very condescending over my frustrations. Contacted corporate customer service who told me that there was no such rule that they were unable to return bedding. Ultimately after speaking with the store manager Jeseray the customer service rep told me I’d be better off googling the manufacturer and attempting to get my money back through them. There is no sign or statement on reverse of receipt that states bedding is unable to be returned. They need to update printed policies to avoid customer dissatisfaction and frustration. Extremely upset, frustrated and disappointed in this company. Will not continue to shop with the company.

I have several trips coming up and was looking for a few items to add to my suitcase. There were two that caught my eye. However, I wasn't sure they would match what I planned to wear them with at home. I purchased the two items and took them home to discover that the colors were not quite right. Thankfully, I had my receipt and the tags were still attached, as I hadn't even tried the items on. A few days later, I returned to make my return. The cashier scanned the receipt and the items. She then told me that she could only issue a gift card. I told her that the return policy on my receipt says I have 30 days to receive my original tender. She agreed with the policy but said the computer wouldn't give her any other options. I asked if she could request a manager to assist. She obliged. After waiting about 15 seconds, she told me the manager wasn't coming and that I could only get a gift card. Again, I said that isn't the policy for tagged, unworn items with a receipt and returned within 30 days. I told her I was OK with waiting for the manager to assist us. The cashier then told me that the manager left the building and was on break eating breakfast. I asked who else could she call to assist us. She hesitated, but paged for help again. While we were waiting for assistance, she repeated that I was only going to get a gift card and there is nothing else that can be done. I simply replied that I'd like to ask a manager why. She repeated that the only option is a gift card and that no manager was available. The manager arrived and greeted me and the cashier. She took a quick glance at the receipt and told me that she can refund the purchase to the original tender. I told her that's exactly what I'd like. She then told the cashier that she hadn't pressed the credit button on the register. The manager completed my return in 10 seconds. The cashier was insistent on her incorrect information and tried to discourage me from waiting for a manager by insisting that a gift card was the only option, when actually she had not tapped the proper button to help me. She did not apologize after she was corrected and turned a 10 second transaction into a 10 minute one.

The worst customer service I’ve ever encountered in my 25yrs of shopping at Burlington. I will not be coming back. The manager lacks basic hospitality and apparently does not know the golden rule.

I love going to Market Place to do a lot of my shopping. The Burlington in Dawsonville Ga is a very good place to go. I have always loved the one in Alpharetta,that's why I go. The Burlington in Dawsonville is a good place for most everything you may want or need. They seem to keep the store stocked. Thanks for coming to Dawsonville. I visit often.
