American Carpet Wholesalers, was no help with defective Shaw material and refused to work with us after claim denial. WARNING: DEFECTIVE SHAW PRODUCT. WILL NOT HONOR WARRANTY. After 6mo, Shaw Floorte planks separated revealing gray core material. Top layer flakes off revealing the gray core, pulls off in strips from walking & cleaning. Shaw denied claim stating that install requirements not followed, but points were not mentioned at all in the installation instructions or were only recommendations not requirements. Then Shaw changed the warranty rules mid-stream. $12K floor falling apart. NEVER buy Shaw and won't buy from ACW ever again.

Stopped in Dalton, Ga to get prices on flooring for new home build. Knew flooring that I wanted so called around 1st to see who had an actual example of the flooring. Called American Carpet Wholesalers and spoke to rep Ben. He wasn’t sure if this location had an example so asked to give him a few minutes to walk around their showroom and look and he’d call me back. He called back in less than 30 minutes and said yes, their showroom had example. Went to the showroom, met Ben and saw excellent example of the flooring I wanted. Showroom had TONS of examples of just about any kind of hardwood, engineered hardwood, LVP and carpet. Definitely have in mind what you want or what you think you want as choices here were great!

This company may be located in the snall town of Dalton, Ga, but they arrainged for me to get Kardean luxury vinyl flooring at a great price. It was shipped to us in Florida and we received it 7 days after we placed the order. Excellent customer service and follow up by Teri and the shipping department. A 5 star experience all the way.

If you are looking for exceptional customer service, contact Ben Upshaw with American Carpet Wholesalers. My flooring was a little delayed coming in, he literally contacted me regularly every step of the way. Great follow up and follow through! Customer service like this is a rare find these days.

My sales guy was very nice. HOWEVER, I told him the design I wanted and he told me to order 15% more to make sure we had enough for the design. Got the flooring only to find out that you cannot do the design we wanted with that flooring at all. We purchased 15% extra for something we cannot do. Then we called the sales guy and he told us that there would be a restocking fee if we returned any flooring. Terrible service and it's the worst to have a sales person who actually doesn't know what they're doing. Really disappointing!

I was looking for Neptune Max XL Starboard LVP to replace a section of the flooring we have at the house and contacted American Carpet Wholesale. Mike at the Sales department was super helpful and I will definitely contact Mike again and recommend him to anyone who is looking to do business with American Carpet. The materials that I was looking for were generally out of stock, Mike was able to find 10 boxes for me from a warehouse in St. Louis. I appreciate his helpfulness and patience with me.

American Carpet Wholesalers provided excellent customer service when needed for floor tiles that did not hold up well. They kept me up to date with the process and followed-up with the manufacturer. The results were fair and just. I would recommend working with them in the future. Many firms can sell product, it is the service afterwards that makes the real difference.

We have purchased here before (over 5 years ago) and when we went looking for flooring again (this time LVP), we found them to be the cheapest we could find again. They were very easy to work with. Pricing came quick. Ordering was easy. The only hiccup was they said our order might arrive to their warehouse in 2 to 4 days, but it took about 5. Not a crisis as we were able to go the following weekend and I thought 5 days was still great. 2 to 4 would have been outstanding, but 5 was still more than good. The best thing was the warehouse gentlemen that was there to load our order called and asked what we were in and we told him a pickup. We didn't tell him we had a cover, but he wrapped the pallet VERY well for the ride home as it was raining that day. We didn't ask him to do it, he just did it! Great experience and will check with them again next time we need flooring.

Very honest and fair. They worked hard to make sure we were satisfied and kept us informed about everything. Definitely recommend. I wish they were closer so shipping wasn't a challenge! Ask for Regina for sales and Amber for customer help. Both are excellent at their customer service and communication.

One Star for good pricing. Zero stars for customer service. I have never experienced ruder people in my life. One old man sounds like he should have retired from customer service 25 years ago. The other lady is so short and rude when making any enquires or even making large payments. Disappointing.
