Five years ago this was a five-star store. A number of things have changed.
First, clearly new folks took over the bakery. Where once there was an abundance of delicious cookies and cakes, there now works a ruthless tyrant that believes cookies should be dark brown and crunchy (over done), and the cake… well, apparently whatever monster is in charge back there only likes carrot cake, red velvet, and coconut cream. It doesn’t matter how much I beg and plead for the sane, sensible, and scrumptious chocolate cake. The baker grinch back there just continues to burn the cookies and sticks to the three most objectionable cake flavors. I can only assume this is more out of laziness than malevolence. When you make things terrible, they don’t sell, and he/she doesn’t have to make as much. If it sells, you have to make more. I get it. But carrot cake, red velvet, and coconut…? …You …monster!
The next thing that changed they honestly have little control over. Unfortunately, it still affects the quality of the store. For some reason, a million transplants from metro Atlanta and random northeastern locations moved to this area over the past 5 years. The store is perpetually pillaged. The deli is a mad house. The aisles get crowded. Even the parking lot—filled with cars, yes, but worse—trash everywhere.
I recall the first time I got out of my car to see a little trail of chicken wing bones in the parking lot. Again, it’s not the Publix’s fault that a bunch of disrespectful transplants that never learned to clean up after themselves came to New Hope, but… it still reflects terribly on this particular location.
Alas, there’s nothing the New Hope Publix can do to change the customer demographics. They can’t decrease the Dallas population to its more manageable past. HOWEVER, I will petition you, for the love of all good things, to do something about the monster of the bakery that believes burnt cookies and … carrot cake … are shelf-worthy products!

I love this Publix. What I seem to notice is how friendly and prepared everyone is. When I say prepared, I mean the deli specifically. They always have food hot and ready and fresh.
The service is always top notch here too. Associates are always around when you need them. Also, they are very efficient at checkout. Not only are the self checkout lines open, but there are plenty of standards lines open with cashiers ready to take care of you.
Even when it gets a little busy, they employees work together to get lines down, love it.

I had to get a few things from Publix for the 4th. Of July.
The store was very busy of course on this holiday.
As I was checking out and I dropped a nickel. I told the courteous cashier no worries and pulled out a quarter.
A grocery clerk behind me noticed the nickel, I had dropped, and he handed it to me.
The grocery clerk (Ezekiel), I think was his name, went above and beyond.
Thank you

I visited this location today to visit the deli. Theresa is such an amazing employee! She was very careful to make sure she made my salad and my son’s sub perfectly! Her personality was very warm and inviting.
The store itself is very clean and well stocked. I highly recommend and will return!

I am an Indian residing in America and a regular customer at Publix. On a couple of occasions, I approached them to cut chicken for me, which they did for free. However, the third time I requested their service, they informed me it would cost $2.39 per pound. This was confusing to me because they advertise meat cutting as a complimentary service. I feel this treatment may be discriminatory, and I urge the management to address this issue.

Specifically a deli review:
Pros: The food is so good. The sandwiches are fantastic. High quality through and through. Never been disappointed once the sub is in my hand.
Cons: Absolutely zero sense of urgency/speed. If it's normal operating hours expect to hang out and watch YouTube on your phone for a bit, because they have found a way to make building a sandwich a 10-15 minute adventure per person. I don't think I've ever seen a fully staffed deli counter glance at a line of 7-8 people and then count half-time to 20 before successfully placing a handful of lettuce on a sub sandwich.

This has got to be one of the worst Publix stores I have ever step foot in. It tends to be very dirty and unsanitary; it goes to show with the items in their bakery. The iconic Publix chocolate chip cookies are usually very stale at this branch compared to the Publix in Lost Mountain Crossing.
In todays visit, I decided to pick up some pizza dough, along with cheese and sauce (which again, is located in the bakery) only to get home and realize it was made on a dirty, unsanitary surface; It had contained various stains and/or crumbs and it became waste.
