DCA was one of the worst experiences I have ever endured. If you try and go your own path and be independent, you will be reprimanded for doing so. For example, as a senior in high school at DCA, I did not have an elective the first period; however, my mother worked as a teacher there and had a class the first period. The principal found me and threatened me if I was seen on school property (even sitting in an empty room working on homework) before my first period, that I would not be able to graduate. In addition, when the principal found gum on a table, she brought it in front of the whole school and said she was going to do a DNA test because nobody would own up to it. Numerous events have happened like this time and time again. Putting her hands physically on me, searching my backpack (because she heard I had headphones in my backpack), and was threatening in all areas. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL. It is an automatic signup for years and years of counseling.

This is our first year at DCA coming from a Gwinnett County public school. Our son started middle school this year and it has been the best experience for him. Small classroom sizes, freedom from mask mandates, SACS accredited, excellent teachers, plus the hybrid schedule to have in-home and in-class school days. We are beyond grateful for Dacula Classica Academy!

This school is a fantastic, nurturing environment for homeschool children. I'm so thankful DCA if here for my kids.

My children are currently in their third year at Dacula Classical Academy. My husband and I could not be more pleased with the quality of education my children are receiving. The environment is challenging and very encouraging. The staff works diligently to create a comfortable atmosphere that not only engages the children but also fosters an environment that allows individual learning styles to thrive. It is our plan for our children to remain at DCA through the end of high school. If you are looking for an alternative to public school with a classical approach to learning, I would highly encourage you to tour DCA as an option for your child.

Dacula Classical Academy is a wonderful fit for our family. I am happy to have my son home doing school with me for two days, and to be at the school with other teachers and classmates two and a half days a week.
The cost for the school is much lower than a five-day private school. There are no school uniforms, which keep costs down also.
The teachers at the school are passionate about teaching, and communicate regularly with parents. The curriculum is Christian-based and the school on the whole presents a strong biblical world view. Homework assignments are communicated clearly in an online program. There is flexibility to work independently to accommodate family vacations and schedules.
There are regular school functions to help connect the students and families, and to provide fun social activities.
My son loves to go to school, and he is getting a good, thorough and well-rounded education. I am getting the support I need, and not having to worry about choosing curriculum or keeping grade records.

That use to be my old preschool until they tore it down and ruin my little childhood dream working with my preschool teacher
