I had an amazing experience at Appalachee. All the staff were SO kind and caring. Pricing is very reasonable. I could really tell they cared about the wellbeing of my pet. They will definitely be my long term animal hospital.
Update: My dog got her teeth pulled and cleaned here recently. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and care! Dr. Hughes and all the staff so amazing and compassionate to my dog who is deathly afraid of the vet. Im forever grateful!

Friendly staff, easy to get an appointment! My fur babies are well taken care of. Dr. Flowers! She always has a smile on her face. Her assistant today was sweet and knowledgeable. I think her name was Elizabeth. Always pleasant and especially helpful with Baxter. It's easy to get an appointment and we are always greeted promptly. The techs are very knowledgeable and the doctors are very caring.

I love the staff here. Dr. Randy is wonderful. He has been our Vet for over 10 years. We've moved 30 mins away from Dacula but still use Apalachee River.

Wonderful experience! I look forward to establishing a long relationship to ensure my pups are kept healthy. Karen and Josie were wonderful. I can't recall the doctor that saw my pups but she was equally wonderful. I am very happy with the services so far!! From initial contact to get a briefing of the facility to the actual care that was delivered to my pups, everything was top notch!!

I have been bringing my dogs (and even a feral cat) to Apalachee River since 2016. At this point we’ve seen most of the veterinarians and staff, and I have always been impressed with their kindness towards my pets, professional knowledge, clear communication, and ease of scheduling appointments. I always feel that they put my pets’ best interest first without pushing for any unnecessary treatment. I would recommend ARAH to anyone in the area looking for a great veterinary home for their pet.

I am very happy with the service they provide to my animals. This vet always makes me feel welcomed and I have appreciated all their help, especially with my cats and dogs issues. I would definitely recommend! The doctors are very nice and attentive! Love them!

Update: Dr. Hughes called me to explain everything that night and she was very insightful and caring.
I contacted ARAH several times afterwards for some other things and each time they were very helpful and compassionate.
Ever since we brought my dog home, I have brought him to ARAH for medical necessities and boarding. Dr. Hughes, the technicians, and the front staff have always been helpful and kind.
I'm considering changing to a different animal hospital due to a recent experience with my dog having an allergic reaction to a vaccine. It is NOT the ARAH team's fault that my dog had a poor allergic reaction, but the way they handled it afterward left me thinking I should consider somewhere else.
My dog had a severe reaction to his first lepto vaccine and they responded swiftly when I brought him back to the office. They pre-medicated him before the booster shot, but he still showed an allergic reaction, which made his tongue turn white.
When I came back to pick him up, I was told to keep an eye on him and that he wouldn't be getting any more lepto vaccines in the future. I wish they could've further explained why my dog's tongue turned white and other alternative options to prevent lepto bacteria for my dog.
I was then met with a front desk staff who passive aggressively demanded payment from me, although I had paid my balance earlier during the day when she was not working. When I explained that I already paid, she didn't even bother double-checking it herself and only believed me when the other staff corrected her.
When I got home, I called the office to ask questions about aftercare (any need for antihistamines) and about my dog's tongue turning white.
My experience with Ashely was not pleasant as she sounded annoyed and begrudgingly went back to speak with the doctors. I felt like I was in the wrong for asking questions about my dog's well-being after a scary incident. It may have been a small happening for the ARAH staff, but seeing my dog wheezing for air while his face swelled up and him throwing all over me in the car was scary for my family and me. And so I wanted to be extra cautious after seeing my dog's poor reaction to the vaccine for the 2nd time.
I can only remember having positive experiences with Dr. Hughes and the staff; my dog loves them. I never had issues with the front desk staff. But I really didn't like how the receptionist responded (6/12 after 3PM), and I didn't particularly appreciate how it felt like I had to "annoy" them for necessary information for my dog.

I had to put down my sweet Cora last week and Dr. Randy and the staff was so kind during our hard time. He explained everything to me very clearly and didn’t pressure me into doing anything I didn’t want to do in terms of next steps for our cat. I truly felt like everyone was hurting alongside us as we said goodbye. We have another cat we will continue to bring here, too.
