This facility has their phone numbers mixed up with a storage facility down the street. They say you can get same day access when you rent online but don’t give information on how to access the unit. It took me several phone calls and going from online facility to the next to be given info about the lock for my unit. Finally think I can access my facility and the access code is incomplete. A worker had to meet me there to open it up and make sure that my unit had a lock(they make you buy their lock). The monthly payment amount on the contract doesn’t match the monthly amount shown on the initial payment receipt. So far, not impressed. Only using it for convenience.

Great drive up storage, price and clean. Great staff. Only reason for not giving 5 star is its a little tight to get in and out with a trailer. Could use a few more cameras.

No moving carts had to carry everything.the door wouldn't lock .. Not recommend no i dont my friend does n i had to move her stuff in unit

Thus storage facility is just what the name implies, a storage facility. Buildings and units seem to be in decent shape. Just very difficult to navigate with a larger moving van. I chose this place based on price and proximity to our location. Not saying it is a bad facility. Just difficult to navigate.

Well you place a warning now that all my clothes are in the trash that I had down there and not in just one unit and all I wanted was a thank you for taking off the woref rats remains that you screamed at me about it was me who should have put out poison as much as I paid down there I don't think so and also had no food or anything else that they would want I also did not like being screamed at about being a lieer day I g I said my coins that are missing was taken by someone there. I Never said anythi g like if you don't remember several yrs ago I remember the gate being open all weekend. .

RODENTS....unfortunately all our stuff was destroyed by renting a unit here. I am not one to write negative reviews, but they were aware there was a problem and did not warn us. And now they won't even pay to dump all that's ruined and we are still having to pay for the unit until we can get someone out there....absolutely horrible.

Tracy was very nice. Listened to me and figured out the size unit I needed. Got a great deal too. Would definitely recommend. She also recommended someone who could help me with moving, if I needed it.

I never leave a negative review for anything. If you can't say something nice don't say it all. Well not in this case. If you are looking to store your belongings anywhere I would use great caution if considering Star Storage at Hwy 9 and 369. I left a review on Google and their response was. we don't see you have an account with us. We strive for excellence and are disappointed you didn't receive that. [email protected] or 877-581-0849 to discuss the details. My reponse: You are correct. I thankfully do not have an account with Star Storage. My mother on the other hand, is not so lucky. When she got a unit at your facility she stressed the fact the she had nice things and would like to know they would stay that way so she even took out the extra insurance just in case. Hopefully the insurance does what it is supposed to because when I was there yesterday to help her move out I was astonished at what I walked into. So much of her stuff is ruined due to mildew and rats. There was rat droppings literally on almost everything. Urine stains on her Harley stuff and her king size pillow top mattress. No telling how much urine on things not so visibly bright that we can't see. Mildew all over one of the pieces from an $8000 bedroom set and her nice dining set, and her antique chair she has had forever which also has a nice hole chewed in the front of it now. Furniture chewed here and there, even the dang golf balls. There is a hole on each side of the wall at front of the unit where the rats holes are to travel from unit to unit. The insulation is falling out of the ceiling in one place also. You can see the wet spots throughout the unit where moisture has been getting in to allow mildew to grow. It was heartbreaking. I do not believe i would send anyone your way i am sorry to say. People store their belongings to keep from losing them sometimes and well she could have just set it in a yard with a tarp over it and probably come out better. Hopefully your company will do the correct thing and make this right without a hassle. Now just so everyone knows. They are making it a hassle and do not want to take responsibility on making anything right. Save your stuff and the trouble by passing this one up.
