HORRIBLE SHOP!' Chose this shop based on their good reviews and was severely disappointed. I M here alone and without another means of transportation. This shop told me they could fix my engine brake, replace a muffler and help me get to and from a rental car as they wanted my truck for 2 days.
They failed to give me ride on drop-off or pick-up and finally stated they can never promise that even though they had advance notice and promised me that ride. They then tell me they don't work on engine brakes and couldn't get. Muffler in 2 days and couldn't say when they would. I just spent hundreds of dollars to do nothing based on their false promises. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!'n

Idk how my experience was so different from everybody else’s, but definitely wouldn’t recommend. My mother in law had a car which wouldn’t start and we asked 3 different people what was wrong, and everybody said it was probably the starter. We got to STAR and they said it was the alternator. We paid for an alternator (got it from somewhere else, STAR will overcharge for the part) and the labor. A couple weeks later the car wouldn’t start again. STAR said “whoops it’s the starter but the alternator would’ve probably died eventually” and so we paid for a starter and the labor. Next day the car won’t start again and they have the nerve to think we’ll bring the car back to them for anything more than free. By the way, it wouldn’t start this time because the positive terminal on the battery was loose. I think STAR just knocked it loose or forgot to tighten it, but my MIL thinks it was intentional to get her back in the shop. She is on a fixed income and they literally took all her money last month. Extra star because everybody I talked to in person was super nice lol

This place was recommended through a friend, he mentioned the owner even gave him a ride twice. They are absolutly awesome here, highly recommend this place. I had a quote that didn't add up, Chuck looked at it found parts much cheaper even noted 2 parts on my original quote did not need to be replaced saving me hundreds! Only place I'll go from now on!
