I had the pleasure of visiting Bealls in Columbus, GA recently, and I can't say enough positive things about my experience. Mykia, who I know from my time working there, continues to impress as both an outstanding employee and a genuinely wonderful person. Her dedication to providing excellent customer service is truly commendable. Despite occasional limitations in merchandise selection, the store is consistently clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant shopping environment. Mykia's presence alone makes every visit to Bealls a joy, and I highly recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for quality service and a friendly atmosphere.

Michelle the cashier is absolutely MISERABLE and needs to get a job that is not customer service. I was doing what I do anywhere else as I have worked in retail and I decided against one item and I only had about 12 items and she was half way thru scanning everything and I literally had to walk a total of 20 steps round trip I come back LESS than 20 seconds and she stopped my stuff and took care of someone else and straight acted like I did something wrong. I am usually very verbal or hot headed but I held my cool as I was blown away by the audacity that she treated me like I was rude for putting it up instead of being like most people and just leave stuff laying places and make them do it. I am from Panama City and so thankful my store people are not like Michelle. I am here often now ad my sister lives here but he'll will freeze before I ever walk in this one again

Complaint File as of 09/23/2023:Hello,I visited the Columbus GA Bealls off of Macon Rd this evening around 6:26 p.m. on 09/23/2023. I came into the store today to find gifts for my family members birthdays. I was dressed in a Troy University school t.shirt, jeans, and sneakers. I only carry my phone, head phones, and wallet into the store when I shop. I feel I was discriminated by the manager and store clerks there. I work as a social work within community settings so I advocate for others all the time. They were watching me and others as we shopped but I ignored them by listening to my music. When I finally got to the register the manager told the store clerk to check the purses to make sure people don't put wallets inside the purse. I laughed it off and told them I worked as a social worker and was a supervisor so I wouldn't do anything like that. I feel the manager on duty today was unprofessional and needs additional training on how to deal with customers. Thank you for your time.

If I could give them, no stars, I would. About a week ago I walked in and I was greeted with the “welcome in” but they didn’t even look at me. Not sure of their names, but it was two employees. I was trying to find a shirt in the young men’s section, and they were in the same section standing in front of the large shirts where I needed to be.. I tried to hint around by looking at the shirts over their shoulder, but they didn’t get the hint so I had to go to the other side. And I said excuse me because they looked at me like I was crazy and “I said excuse me I’m sorry not trying to push up on you Just trying to look at these shirts.” And I was met with a response. “ Oh, you’re fine you can push up on me anytime.”I’m a grown man, but that was very unprofessional One of them said to the other employee, “ I don’t know why they got us working together today because they know we ain’t gone get nothing done” and then on top of that they were rude. I will never go back in the store and I promise you I’m calling corporate. This isn’t my first incident at the store. I’ve been there only like three or four times and each time it was unpleasant I don’t recommend the store. They don’t got nothing in there anyways it’s always empty.
