My wife took our 2014 Avalon in for service. They told her it was ready, and when she paid and started to drive away the check engine light came on. She stopped the car immediately and went back into the service dept. Come to find out they had neglected to add oil when serviced. Although they apologized, this is the last time we will ever have our vehicles (we've bought several new cars from them) serviced there or buy a vehicle there again. Just incompetent and unforgivable.

Ask for Al during Toyotathon! Best car-buying experience ever! Each person was very courteous.

Well. 3 weeks for a bumper repair for the paint to have drips in it in multiple places and gouges on a brand new part they ordered. I chose this shop because it says they only use OEM parts. Which is untrue. They use OEM parts when it's out of your own pocket but not from insurance. I'm sure they won't give me any type of money back or even offer to fix it. Love having to have a car and the company that manufactured my vehicle can't even do work on it without it coming out wonky. Update: the shop manager offered to have me bring it back to have the paint fixed.

Shout out to Robert Acuff in the service department. After stopping at gas stations to get air in my tires with all air pumps either out of order or blocked Robert helped me and put air in my tires. Thank you!

Website price for an oil change is 64.95. Wife checked by phone, 64.95. As you can see in the photo I was changed 85.89. This is far higher than any other Toyota dealer has ever charged. Oil, filter, and service the same, charge is lower. And, where I come from, a published price is the price. A quoted price is the price. When the two do not align - then it no longer passes the sniff test. Quote one thing charge another is "bait & switch" in my opinion. Cherokee County Toyota no longer passes my sniff test. There are too many other options besides this kind of treatment. I would have expected a dealer to be way above this kind of misleading practice. My last oil change was 49.95 on the lady day special at Toyota of Newnan.

I'm a customer of Cherokee county Toyota in Canton Georgia I purchased three cars from them in the past 4 years a few month ago l was in the market for a car I stopped by the dealership to get a quote and I end up talking to the sales manager Mr l (I do not want to say his full name) he was very rude but I was okay with it back then at some point he asked me where I'm from (I immigrant you the United States) and when I told him where I'm from is attitude change completely to the wars today I called the dealership again to get a quote for a Tundra 1794 and I explained to them that I already have an offer for the same truck at a different dealership which is about 2 hours from where I live I explained to them since I bought already three cars from them I want to get the best price that I can get and see if they can match so I can purchase the truck from them at that point then transfer the the call again on the other line is Mr I the sales manager he was very rude and he was trashing the other dealership claiming they are giving me false information and there is no way that's the price that I got and he started to ask you questions that make me feel that he is trying to prove that I'm lying to you at that point I told him I didnt call you to trash the other dealership I just called to give me your best price with all the respect I didn't ask for your opinion from that point he just made a point to humiliating me and talk to me in offensive way among the stuff that he told me is that they don't need me as a customer quote please go and drive 2 hours and make a video how they will tell you the hit you with fees and taxes and send it to me so I can laugh he was laughing at me with the people that was next to him telling me to go go drive to your best deal and then he hung up the phone on me at that point I wanted to file a complaint to Toyota USA I can't help the feeling that that is not an experience anybody should have so please do not purchase at that dealership!

I brought my car in for a routine oil change. They told me my water pump was leaking and it would be $1200. They also added over $500 of other problems with my car. They didn't even tell me my car was ready after waiting two hours for an oil change. I have to ask the desk for a status on my car. She told me it was already ready but no one called me. No one called me the last time I got my oil changed as well. I went to get a second opinion from another Toyota dealer and they told me nothing was wrong with my car beside a couple of filters needing changing.

I came in this afternoon and Marcus was who helped me. Not only was he extremely helpful and patient, but I felt welcome and respected. He took all of his afternoon to pull cars for me to look at and test drive, listened to everything I said, guided me throughout this process, ran numbers, the works. I spent hours there, and the entire process was great. Not only did Marcus help me so much and was so kind and patient, but the manager, the "finance guy", the whole team worked together there and went above and beyond anything I expected to receive. It was not the typical "car dealership experience" you always hear about. Everyone I had the pleasure of interacting with went far beyond any expectations I had. I am so thankful for this team of people and my experience today with them. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. You have a life long customer.

STAY AWAY!!!! GO TO MILTON MARTIN IN GAINESVILLE!!!!!! I took my Toyota Tacoma in for a popping in the front passenger side. At pick up we was charged $3973 for brakes, drums and rotors. For a popping in the front we were told they could do an alignment which was needed due to larger tires on the vehicle. We leave there drive home we still hear popping, make an appointment at another mechanic shop to get the alignment. At pick up there we were told they couldn't sue an alignment due to Cherokee Toyota leaving off a clotted pin the upper ball joint. Which was NEVER. Replaced and ended up being the whole reason for the popping in the first place. I take it back to Cherokee Toyota to question why it wasn't fixed only to be told it wasn't like that when you're left. Wait what? They are crooked as can be. They charged us for stuff we didn't even need and refuse to fix it. Yet wanted us to pay another $1000 for more work. The service manager (Todd) was rude to us after we told his this should have been fixed to start with and not brakes! Will never give this place another penny. This is the second time we have run into them doing unnecessary things then charging a crazy amount.

They lie. They rush you into signing things. Hide charges in the paperwork. They use trickery and manipulation to make a sale. I feel like they got one over on me. Avoid this place.

Had them quote me doing a rear differential on my 4runner. I had another shop who looked at it and troubleshot the problem "Roaring RearEnd." Bearing Shots. Other shop let me know transmission in great shape. Their price was high so I called Cherokee County Toyota. I told them Marietta Toyota was selling part new for $1,700. They said they could match and labor would be $300-$500. So I drove to them. They called me back and said it would now be $5,300. I asked why and they said it needed Pinion Bearings also(Which are new in the rear differential). Service tech argued and said they weren't. I pushed back and told them I know they are and I will give you an option to fix. He said fine Ill check. Called back and said well $4,100. I asked what happened to price you quoted. Service Tech said "I know your mad. Why don't you cool off and take some time then call us back when we can start?" I said that I dont need time I will pick it up. Since I don't live close and didn't want to waste half a day of time between me and someone to take me there I called another shop who offered to tow it for $50 bucks and do all the work for way less. That shop told me that my transmission got fried. Thanks for telling the guy who grabbed my 4runner "Hope he knows a good mechanic now and laughing." BTW The guy who quoted me the price originally is same guy who I dealt with during the experience. Very dishonest.

Very disappointed in the service department. I bought a used truck from them a few months ago, $42,000+. Was VERY happy with the purchase experience. Scheduled an oil change appointment for this past Saturday at 8:00am. I am supposed to get a free oil change and tire rotation since I spent so much for a used truck but never even got that far. Turns out their "appointments" are ONLY to meet with a Service Advisor, it is NOT an appointment to actually have the work performed! REALLY?! You get to wait in line and be taken "first come-first served" style with everyone else who just "walked-in" for service. That makes ZERO sense. I was told people were lined up starting at around 6:30am and having an appointment only meant I got to meet with the Service Advisor at that time instead of waiting behind walk-in people waiting for a service advisor and then I get to sit and wait behind everyone who walked-in before my "appointment" time. THEN the Advisor tried to make analogies. "It's like going to the doctors office or your hair stylists. You have an appointment but they never take you at that time." (???!!!) Um, no. If I have an appointment at my doctors office or my hair stylists, they check me in AND TAKE ME AT MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME! It makes no never-mind who "walked-in" before my appointment time! My appointment time takes precedence! So beware at Cherokee County Toyota - If you spend $42,000+ to buy a car/truck from them and you schedule an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation, you will STILL go to Jiffy Lube and spend $100+ for the oil change and then rotate your own tires in your driveway. Thanks for the great follow-up service now that you have my $42,000.
