Family owed and very friendly staff. Not your typical “box store” hardware store. Prices are a bit higher, but the shopping experience is worth it.

I've gone here a couple times. In the past months. We decided to start a gardening project. I didn't have any tools to get started, but luckily I live only a few miles away from the Houston hardware and garden center. Once I got inside I realized that it's basically a small Walmart. The only thing missing is the automotive department. Of course they don't have the same selection as a larger store like home Depot or Lowe's, but I quickly noticed that pretty much everything I needed for my small projects could be found here. After perusing the aisles for a while, I realized that I probably won't need to go to Walmart nearly as much. The staff is super friendly and the prices are on the low side. The gentleman in the lawn and garden section was very patient when educating me on garden plants. I highly recommend checking out Houston hardware and garden center before heading to one of the superstores in Warner robins. They probably have what you need here for cheaper.

Falen is THE most knowledgeable and the kindest person you'd ever want to meet. He keeps this garden center in immaculate condition, knows all about the plants, and is extremely helpful. I was overjoyed at the huge selection.

My husband bought pinestraw today the round bales the guy put old pinestraw bales in with new bales. Not good for business especially at the high price of pinestraw these days. Do better especially for repeat customers. So watch the guy when he is helping load.

Garden center employee very knowledgeable and helpful. We got a great deal on plants. All the young people working inside were very knowledgable about hardware. Really impressed I have always liked this store.

When you need an odd part to finish a project or need pinestraw this location has what you need. Seated in a weird location doesn't exactly detract from the ability to use the location.They offer literally everything you can think of to start or even finish a project. They always have 4-7 people on staff ready to help you find something in the store. They have a small town hardware feel with a level of products offered of a local lowes, cutting the usual obscure things lowes would offer.They have a propane filling location with staff that are competent, and also sell various size new propane tanks.They do lack lumber in terms of what cuts and sizes you need, so unfortunately you'll need to head to lowes for that.If you're the farmer, they offer account charge services, and a bunch of different products most farmers use in bulk.I have zero bad experiences over 4 years in this location, and will continue to visit this location for my hardware needs.
