We had used 5 star moving 3 times before and it was fantastic. Recommened them. Not this time! After it was too late, we found out it had been sold. Do not use these people! They did not tie down our furniture or wrap it in the truck. The workers argued with us. When it arrived, our bedroom suit was ruined, the legs were broken on our commercial refrigerator, a cabinet broken into pieces, I guess from the commercial refrigerator sliding around on everything, boxes of glass crushed. A nightmare. And don't think you will get an insurance claim!

Joel, Joe and Steve worked fast and efficiently which saved me money on this move. I had two heavy desks moved of which they wrapped and moved them like they were light as a feather. They didn’t demand being tipped but I was happy to do so when they got the whole move done in two hours. I would definitely use them again but hopefully I won’t need to for awhile. I would also recommend them to others. Three men is definitely the way to move things when time is of the essence. Jody was very helpful also. I wish they had business cards for me and the storage place to hand out.

I have used Five Star Movers a handful of times and highly recommend them to my clients, friends and family. Jodi and Rhonda are knowledgeable and upfront about cost. And Joel, Josh, Joe and Ricardo are always professional and careful with belongings.

This is my second move with Five Star Moving. Jody was very helpful when we met for an estimate and offered me advice that would save me money. The crew, Joel, Joe and Josh were very polite, professional and friendly. They did a great job! I will use Five Star Moving if I move again.

Scheduled a move with Jody, the owner, (by phone and he confirmed in an email the job is for 4 movers & 2 trucks a few days before. Morning of move, 1 truck & 2 movers showed...called Jody & he stated he just found out 2 drivers weren't coming. The head guy said they didn't have the manpower to move our stuff and they left. I tried to call Jody to let him know his workers abandoned the job and he wouldn't answer my phone call. Totally unprofessional and left is in a bind.

We used 5 Star to move from Aiken to Beaufort SC. We had used them for a limited move of a few miles a few years ago and they did a good job. The move to Beaufort earlier this year was a nightmare. Items were "missing" upon delivery that we saw the movers take to the trucks; despite asking, a number of times, for the movers to completely dwrap upholstered, expensive furniture, the items were partially wrapped and were stained in the process, numerous furniture pieces were delivered with damaged legs; and beds and tables were partially assembled and fell apart when we went to use them. If I could rate them "ZERO" I would. The company owner would not take any responsibility for the damage even though his own people reviewed the damaged upholstered items and damaged furniture and took pictures of the items. He said they would only pay so many "cents per pound" - "that was all they were responsible for". In the end, i spoke with an attorney who agree to take the case but also let me know that it would probably cost $3000 to $5000 to go after them and that we could probably get things taken care of ourselves instead of spending the time and money on legal fees. It's a real shame that they cannot be held accountable. Don't use this company to move.

They handle all my moves always professional! Wish they were not so busy when I need them the same week I call. Now if we could all get out of this employee crunch.most recent move they packed all my stuff and moved it to a storage facility.

Don’t use this moving company. They stole a box of medication out of my dads home, his golf clubs, all his tools and toolbox, a weed eater among other things. They got all of his and my step moms heart medicine and things he needs. We have them on video going through boxes. They also damaged the house and it will need repairs. We called and filed a police report. Worst experience. Don’t use them.

People be careful! This company will steal your valuables! Make sure what ever these men load on their truck, they unload it. For example: if they put 20 of your items on the truck/ make sure they unload 20 of your items…They stole from me! I had to call Richmond County Police Department. Luckily I did get some of my stuff back but unfortunately I lost over $4500 of my valuables! Not to mention the first thing that came out of the crew leads mouth was asking for a tip !I am severely disappointed in this Moving Company!

I recently moved 1.5 miles to a new home. five Star moving did a great job at helping us. We asked them to take care of all our larger items and then the day of the of the move as my wife and i ran out of steam they helped us with everything left. What a great team!!!

This moving company goes above and beyond! They provided moving services during a very stressful time (3 family members from one memory care facility to another). In addition to being prompt and courteous, they enthusiastically helped arrange the furniture. I continue to call them as needed and always receive a professional and timely response. Many thanks!

DO NOT USE! They broke my fridge. Put dings all over my expensive fridge. Broke my dining room chairs, broke stone off the house moving things, rolled boxes down the stairs several times on purpose, dinged my walls, scratched my floors. Find another company!!!
