I will never bring another animal here ever! I have spent over $900 in all in this place just to have two dead dogs. The first dog, the vet sent us home with medicine saying that dog would be ok it just need to clean out its system. I gave the pup the medicine and the next day the pup got sick, so I brought the pup back and spent more money only for the vet to tell me he have to put the pup down because his stomach was twisted. Then I brought my dog that I have had for 3 years to this place because she kept throwing up. The vet charged me $426 for X ray and a shot to stop the vomiting. He said her X-ray looks fine she probably ate something bad. He prescribed her antibiotics and my dog just died! I’m never coming back to this money pit again.

Dr. Tolbert and his staff are totally dedicated to the good health of our pets. My guy Crixus has been treated like a rock star from the very first time he crossed the threshold of this establishment. I am pleased as punch with his treatment plans and out comes. My grand-pups come here and my future pets will be coming to Dr. Tolbert in the future. Thank you for your community commitment and excellent service. You too Brittney.

Granted we showed up right before they were about to close but it was an emergency and this was the closest place near us. Our cat was in dire condition after we found him on the floor panting heavily and unable to move himself. The veterinarian turned us away in our time of need. Our pet desperately needed help and he turned us away. Some “hospital”. The only reason we went there first was because they call themselves an animal hospital and it was nearby. The receptionist was very kind and showing concern, helped us find other clinics to call. We had to drive 40 minutes to the next clinic. Sadly, our beloved feline friend is no longer with us. Soft Paws Animal Clinic and Urgent Care were our savior. They usually only do appointments but knew we needed help from the tone of my voice and told us to come right in. This experience will stay with us. I’m sure this clinic has helped and done right by others, but this was our experience.
