Such a warm and welcoming neighborhood shop who cares about what their customer is looking for. They take the time to understand, recommend fabulous items, and provide a stellar product - ensuring a relationship and not just stop and shop. Pro tip: macarons and banana pudding are the only desserts after a melt in your mouth steak and mouth watering veggie side. (Added 4/2/24: we picked up burgers to grill for Easter and they were huge and so delicious. Everyone raved about them!)

I’ve been wanting to visit this boutique butcher shop for some time and after my second time visiting and shopping there - I am now a customer! I live in Fayetteville but I’m in the Buckhead area frequently for work and errands. Both visits I purchased the BBS 10oz filets - I’m a Whole Foods girlie and typically get filets from there due to Whole Foods being one of the few big box grocery stores that have a higher meat quality. However, the tenderness, quality, and flavor of the BBS filets surpassed what we normally get at Whole Foods. It was like we were eating at Chops of C Ellet’s but at home. The general manager Sam, who attended to me the first time was super helpful and recommended their white truffle oil to apply on the steaks once they were done cooking. Following his instructions which were easy - my husband was knocked off his socks with the steak dinner I made at home. Annika the event coordinator was also helpful in providing me information in regards to private and public events & she’s also from my hometown area! We also LOVE their wagyu bacon (it has the texture, sizzle, and flavor similar to pork bacon but a great option for non-pork eaters). I paired the steak dinners with homemade whipped garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and crab cakes (I purchased the ingredients for our sides at Whole Foods around the corner). I wish BBS would carry their own steak sauce but the white truffle oil enhances the flavors of their steaks so perfectly that steak sauce isn’t necessary. As a second generation small business owner, I appreciate their business model and how they pivoted during Covid. It’s great to see how supportive their clientele and community are!

We love buckhead butcher shop and always have the best experiences. From trying new things to getting the best cuts of our favorites, we are always met with great customer service and wonderful items. One time we came home with a cut of meat that had gone bad- we called them and the owner drove to our house with a new cut of fresh meat. Talk about customer service!!! Highly recommend

Just hosted my second event at BBS. As always the food, drinks, and service were unbeatable. My team begs to come back here instead of trying new places. We are able to spend quality time together and eat some of the best food we’ve ever had. The bartender tonight made the best drinks any of us had ever had. Truly an unmatched experience.

If you haven’t shopped at BBS, don’t wait any longer! This place blows me away every time we visit. From the beautiful esthetic, to the wonderful customer service, to the incredible product selection, to the best meat I’ve ever had, I can’t say enough good things about this place. Unfortunately, we don’t live close, but we never leave Atlanta without stopping in to fill up our cooler to hold us over until our next visit. And the people working there knew us by name (and remembered where we live) after just a couple of visits. Needless to say, we are hooked (so badly so that I will rarely eat a filet from anywhere else)!

If you are looking for a real butcher, this is definitely not the place to go. They carry a limited quantity of quality meat, but they don't have a butcher on site. If you need a specific cut, or meat trimmed to a certain size, they will not be able to help you. They are definitely a purveyor of fine goods, but they are in no way an actual butcher.

My go-to for any steak night, and the pre-prepared cook-at-home sides are amazing. The staff are all so helpful and Chef Leonard has been generous with his cooking tips when I’m not sure how to best do a cut. 10/10.

I’m a huge fan of this place. A great butcher shop with so much to offer outside of just cuts of meat. I have been of a fan of this place since they were in their old shop and I look forward to their success and my many trips to come!

Best butcher shop in Atlanta by far! We have friends over for steak nights and they all say it’s the best steak they’ve ever had. Everything we’ve had from BBS is top notch!

How can you call this a butcher shoppe when they don’t do any butchering. They won’t cut anything for you and everything comes into the store is prepackaged. If you’re looking for prepacked meat this is your place. But you won’t see me there again.
