Would not recommend. Bad communication and missed Deadlines.

Very disappointed with this firm.Would highly recommend your company find another firm and don't waste your time here. First of all, they were not on top of the their game with absolutely no follow through, guidance, or concern for the small business owner.

Stay away from this firm. Their customer service is nonexistent. I can confirm what others have reported: they take your paperwork and then you never hear from them again. When you call, they're never available to talk, and they can never tell you when your return will be ready. They don't seem to be concerned about missing filing deadlines. I was expecting a large refund and hoped to get it in time to help with cash flow issues for my small business. They were aware of that and it made no difference whatsoever.

They wouldn't return my phone calls. I called and left messages with the receptionist several times. Explained I was in the neighborhood, which is something they seem to be very concerned about, and made it clear that I was willing to pay well to get some help. Never heard back from them.

I have been using Botwinick & Botwinick CPA's for over 10 years they never fail to give you professional courteous support when you have any questions about filing your taxes. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a CPA. Best in Atlanta by far.

As a small business owner, their team covers every aspect of my accounting needs. I don't know what I would do without the added value of bookkeeping in addition to the superb tax preparation!

I would not have a second thought when whether or not to refer Jay, Michelle and their team. They answer is always yes! They have been straight shooters. I trust their guidance and advice when it comes to the complex tax world for both personal and small business tax prep. They have a passion to serve and take care of other business owners. They have also had solid communication if there were any delays and kept us up to speed with our progress. They are both a great accounting and finance partner to have in your arsenal.

I've worked with Michelle & Jay for years. Their wisdom and experience rivals anything you'll find from a Midtown firm. What sets them apart is their level of care for their clients. Thanks for all you do!

This is an untrustworthy and unprofessional group. They have had numerous issues with their clients and the other reviewers account sounds very similar to my own experience and a friend who had the misfortune of working with jay and Michelle. They have purposefully lied about the status of my return, charged exorbitant fees that came from nowhere and may be among the worst people I have ever dealt with. I would Never recommend them to anybody.

I was so excited to learn about this neighborhood firm in Grant Park after they were highly rated on Nextdoor, and was thrilled to sign an engagement letter with them in March 2019 to file my personal and corporate taxes. Unfortunately, the day I met with Michelle Botwinick and handed over all of my personal and business financial information was the last time I ever communicated with her again. After committing to file my taxes before the April deadline, I heard nothing from Michelle for the next 6 weeks. When I contacted the firm a few days before tax day inquiring about the status of my filing, I heard nothing back. When I called again on April 14 and 15, I received no response. Finally on April 16, the firm’s admin, Chauncey, answered the phone and explained that extensions had been filed on my behalf. I made dozens of phone calls and sent a handful of emails between April and June inquiring about the status of my filing but was never successful at getting a return call from the CPA. At one point, after airing my frustration with Chauncey on the phone, he expressed his own frustration: “I’m just as frustrated. I have no idea why they won’t call you back.” I ended up hiring a new CPA who completed my filings in advance of the October 15 final extension deadline. Yesterday, I received a letter from the IRS informing me I was being assessed a $1,400 penalty for failing to file an extension for my 2018 S-Corp taxes -- it turns out Botwinick & Botwinick never filed an extension. I am beyond frustrated with this experience, which I can honestly say is the worst dereliction of duty I have ever experienced from a services company.

I own a local business and this is my accounting team. Would highly recommend them to any businesses that need an A+ team to keep their accounting organized and taxes filed. This is so crucial for any business.
