We began using Good Hands around 2007 when we moved to Athens. Other than the UGA's Veterinary Teaching Hospital we have used no other Veterinary clinic. We were there yesterday, April 13, 2022 for Bonnie's yearly exam yesterday. Everyone from the kennel techs, groomers, staff, Veterinary Technicians, and of course thr vets themselves is amazing. Drs. Falany amd Lathrup are our preferred vets. We love them.
Good Hands Veterinary Hospital is 2nd to none.

We had to put our sweet girl to sleep. The staff was so kind & nice. From the front desk lady, to the nurses and the Veterinarian, all these ladies was so sweet. This was very hard for us, they let us take all the time we needed. Then they made it very peaceful.

I honestly don't know how I haven't left them a review sooner.
I have been coming here for several years with my Shepherds and I cannot say enough great things about them.
I don't have a single favorite vet because each one (past and present) are all wonderful! (Needless to say their vet techs, and staffing are all great as well)
It seems like they have a very good office culture between staff here. (As an outsider looking in)
They have put up with my detail oriented, over aware of every little change in my dogs, and very patiently helped me A. Get to the bottom of changes or B. Found exam results to reassure me there is no greater health issue.
I especially appreciate their willingness to work with me on how I train/handle my dogs to act under vet care! Be kind and explain any concerns/ways you want to try handling a situation and they will match your care 10x over.
I also appreciate their willingness to listen to my less than traditional feeding (as long as it is nutritionally appropriate) of my dogs and do not immediately jump to use over the top treatments when unnecessary for conditions.
They've been there for all of my dogs I've owned as an adult, and provided the most comfortable environment outside for when we had to put our old man Tyler down a few years ago.
I am incredibly sad to leave the state and wish I could take the whole office with me!

Best vet in Athens. The staff is so friendly from the moment they answer the phone. Every time I take my precious fur babies over to their office, it’s always very clean, calm, and welcoming. The reception staff is always on top of it and very kind. All of the doctors and vet techs who have helped us in the past were so compassionate and really go above and beyond for my animals every visit. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I will always trust them with my animals care. Thank you for taking care of Merc and Marshall!!! Roscoe is next ?

Great vet for your pet! They really care about your pet, and my family has had multiple dogs go to this vet. They have great customer service, and you really feel like family!
