Went to the self checkout and the employee there needs to move out of the way so I can do self checkout. No need to stand right at the customer's elbow!

Convenient location. Stock items in this store are always very orderly and well organized. I was disappointed that the web stated my item was in stock but wasn't available in the store.

I’m hear trying to by dog food for my pets it’s clearly available on a cart on the floor and the manager is not willing to off stack for me to be able to feed my dogs she told me to go 4 miles down the road or come back tomorrow and she goes back to standing outside talking to a man and she not even in her store actually working.

I had a very unpleasant experience here because of a rude cashier named “Dashaunna”. She was very rude. In front of me, was a large roll of paper which were previous receipts left there. She proceeds to tell me to take my receipt in case I need to return and I said I didn’t know which one was mine. She rudely said the last one that print like I’m supposed to go through a large pile of paper like that. Very disappointed in being spoken to like I’m an idiot for their lack of removing that large pile of paper.

This store is hit or miss. I haven't been in in a while, but I have stopped twice in the last 3 days-since they rearranged it-and both times I stopped for cigarettes. Made a few impulse buys and when I looked to find someone that can open the case and make the sale...no employees to be found.What makes it so bad is this is my 2nd stop since self checkout took up residence in the front and both times I needed a real live employee to complete the purchase I stopped for...and it was self serve only.It's sad...I have watched this store go thru waves of good, bad & cluttered beyond tolerability...the employees make meager pay, are expected to pull long and tiresome shifts-cant keep the good staff around....DO BETTER PLEASE!! You lose money when no one is there to help customers when they need it. Basically, the store is running itself with humans to stock and babysit the self checkout.It used to be dollar general had humans to check you out...now they're following Walmart and forcing the constomer to become an employee then we put our money into the checkout...and we pay then to serve ourself.Does no one else see the insanity of this? And so as an u trained employee, what happens when we make an error doing a job we have not been trained for? Then who is help at fault or accountable?

New Young blinde and night manager are always so talkative love it I don't have to feel uncomfortable when checking out.

June 2021. Dollar General. I was looking for a store where I could find snacks, pantyhose, and cat food so I drove to the Dollar General and found it all. I like the inside of this particular store because it feels like a warehouse plus on a hot day the AC felt amazing. I love that in the "Dollar General" you can find about anything you need and somehow they manage to have it all in a small store not a huge place such as Walmart. You need anything you are quickly in and out. This particular location gets a 4 out of 5 because it was super messy but at the same time I got all I needed it so YAY.
