So, I go in to grab a couple of Red Bulls, buying two, as I always do, so that I can save a little money. Because I know I'm always going to go back and get another one later, right? And when the man behind the counter charges me the full shingle price for each can, I'll bring it to his attention that the sign clearly states that there is a lesser price when you buy two. His reply was that, no, that is only for the regular flavor, not the flavored Red Bulls. I point out to him that the sign clearly she reads "any flavor", and he then proceeds to take that little sign down and charge me the full price for each can anyway. My overall feel of this place is, if I don't like their prices I can shop somewhere else, they don't care.

I was in need of a Braider like ASAP and I got the contact information for this shop from a girl at T.J.MAXX! So glad I found it. Other than the fact that Saturday mornings are incredibly busy and a few braiders were late so I had to wait long this is your solution for quick braids at a reasonable price in Athens,GA. All the IG girls are just doing to much “$50 deposit and it not included in the prices of style”. Girl bye LOL. I’m going back my original days of going to the African Aunties who charge well and supply the hair. Overall good experience. I really hope they put it in Google so it’s more well known! Ms. Flora did my hair and she did a great job!

UNPROFESSIONAL. Do not go here if you're busy. DONT try to set an appointment either. They will lie and say they're coming in at one time and then play like they didn't know you said we're coming. All I wanted was a braid take down I told her I could come in the morning and then she told me she was coming in at 2:30. I said okay we agreed that I'll come in around then. I called ahead and then she told me she doesn't make appointments!!!! I have a life and that was really inconsiderate!! I will NEVER come back to this salon!

I don’t recommend. They never want to be held accountable when the braids are messing up. They don’t want to fix the problems or at least give you half of your money back. Then on top of that they always try to blame it on your hair texture.

Update: Two months after my previous review (below), I decided to give them another chance. We bought some smokes, a scratch ticket, and four bundles of firewood. As we were packing up our firewood in the trunk of our car. While doing so, a clerk came out and accused of us stealing as the store had only charged us for three bundles. I immediately went into the store to pay for the bundle they hadn’t charged us for and they tried to charge me for eight more. When I stated we had already purchased three and they hadn’t charged me for four, they again tried to charge me for eight. End result, I paid for the one bundle they hadn’t charged me for, but I’m done. This store advertises one price but will charge you more and then when you try to fix a mistake they try to take advantage of you. I’m done. Tomorrow I’m calling the State Attorney General, Secretary of the State is Georgia, and our local governmental advisory boards and the better business bureau. Don’t shop here unless you want to be taken for a doop.After being a frequent customer at this store for several months we noticed that the prices listed for items was not what we ended up paying at the register. Items marked as 2/$2 or $1.99 actually rang up as 2/$2.18 and $2.49. When we brought this to the attention of the clerk he just argued with us that the price paid was the correct price even though the advertised/listed prices were different.We found over the next couple of days that many items on the store ring up for more than they are priced.The store refused to honor the prices as advertised or refund money.

I've regularly fill up at Sam's food mart #2 Chevron convenience store for year's. It's real gas w/ the detergent additives to keep your engine running smoothly, and, keep it clean from any build up. Gas is always about ten cents cheaper than in town real gasoline stations and it's only about a 2 or 3 minute drive farther away on Atlanta highway. When you walk inside you'll find all the necessities. There's a huge selection & good deals on drinks from coke's, to energy & juice, beer and wine. If lottery is your thing. They just recently remodeled the checkout desk. It's much more open, bright, and inviting with an enormous selection of lottery scratches. There's plenty tables to kick back and play/watch live Leno drawings. They have the best gambling for entertainment machine's in town. And they really do pay off too like large casino's elsewhere a million miles away from Athens ga. All there machine's have recently been replaced with the really large style machines found where gambling is fully legalized. If your a vaper or smoker they got awesome deals everyting you can buy at other stations, they always have it all in stock too. My favorite part of visiting Sam's #2 is the the staff. They're extremely personable and very friendly. Also, they always have plenty of staff on duty to keep the line's short and moving rite along that makes for a quick in and out if your in a hurry. I think it's the best station in town. So, check it. And, don't forget to try your luck on their big machine's for a shot at some gasoline or store merchandise. (Except alcohol and vapor/tobacco products) I don't know what else to say other than Sam's Atlanta highway Chevron is where it's at!

Items marked as 2/$2 or $1.99 actually rang up as 2/$2.18 and $2.49. I got my hair braided. It looked great for a week, then all of the edge braids came out. I called to request that they be fixed. I was told that there must be something wrong with my hair texture. I have to pay for a touch up after 10 days. The braids already cost $170.

Never again will I spend another dime there. Customer service is the worst!!! My appointment was at 8 and she got there at 8:45. My hair looked awful and when I wanted her to correct it, she wanted to charge more.

This gas station is a very eclectic mix of lottery tickets, junk food, and alcoholic products. The advertising on the outside of the building is borderline outrageous. And the gas station is physically attached to the cheers package store which is filled to the brim with adult beverages. There is a lot of foot traffic that comes to this liquor store so be cautious about your surroundings.
