I visited almost every hardware/plumbing store in the greater Athens area looking for a certain pipe and fixture for my well. A tall and skinny older African American gentleman at Athen’s Hardware was extremely helpful, got me the part, and helped me assemble it exactly how I needed it. He was fast, kind, and skilled. I wish I’d asked his name because this guy is amazing and I really appreciate his help and expertise.

They are great! I go there all the time for any hardware needs for work. If they don't happen have what you need they know where to send you.The people in the front (Johnny and Andy) are awesome and will walk you through the store and give you advice on what you might need if you are unsure.
